What are the differences from last year's game?
Is the Franchise mode significantly different?
How is First Person Baseball?
New animations?
How is the gameplay?
Thanks Sdrotar

1. Well, there's the GM Career Mode - like Franchise, but you have to meet specific goals within a certain amount of time. First Person Baseball, of course, is also new. For us roster junkies, the Roster Manager has a new Player Finder, which will certianly be handy. There's a lot more sliders, as well - more than I can post, so don't ask... but you'll be happy.
2. No. The GM Career is also simply Franchise with goals - but it's a nice twist.
3. Not as good as First Person Football... You don't see any body parts - just a split-second of the bat. It's a bit disconcerting in a the field, and the batter/pitcher angles are very similar to the ones you normally play with. I'm not overwhelmed by it...
4. There are some nice new animations when fielding, but unfortunately, the pitching and batting animations look the same or even a bit worse than last year's. There seem to be a lot of frames missing or something. From the behind the pitcher came, balls thrown to the outside will simply vanish, and then be listed as a ball. Outfielders have caught balls that looked already past them - but they vanish, and the player stands in one frame of animation, and the CPU says "OUT". It's inconsistent with some of the really fine animations, and it's admittedly disappointing.
5. Essentially the same as last year. After about a dozen games now, I don't notice much difference at all. The "zone" hitting is nice, but I seem to be getting just as good contact by swinging without picking a direction. The inside/outside factor doesn't seem to make much of a difference. It "feels" more timing-based than anything.
Otherwise, if you liked it last year, you'll like it this year.
One plus - there seems to be a bit more variance in pitcher control. It's harder to throw strikes in general.

I know this would be tough to answer but in last years game the batting/pitching did not feel right. Did they change it this year or does it still feel like your swining a wiffle ball bat. Also the game got delayed is thier anything glaring you notice to cause them to delay it.

Honestly, the pitching and batting feels the same to me, with the notable removal of cursor batting. It's a little harder to throw strikes, but otherwise it's the same thing as last year's version.Shawn Drotar
