I have enjoyed several Sega games dating back to the DC, but I will never get their PR stategies. Here they are alienating themselves from a site that has been accused of being Pro Sega. While that is accusation is absurd, Sega does have a lot a fans who use this site.

Perhaps Sega is so confident in their lastest Coca Cola promotion that has produced some of the most annoying and stupid ads in the history of radio, that they are cutting all ties with the rest of the world????

Once again Shawn, whatever the issue is that is "pending resolution" I see no reason you can't treat your site's members like adults instead of children and tastefully and professionally inform us as to what is going on. I'm 49, college educated, and have run multiple businesses successfully. Even with that background I don't get the Sam Fisher secrecy on this.

With your background you don't understand discretion? You, in your multiple buisinesses, have made each and every business decision public? When dealing with another company you take it upon yourself to speak not only for yourself, but for the other company as well?

If you have run multiple businesses, you know that you can't always make everything public - especially when you are dealing with another company. Would you, as a businessman, enter negotiations with another company who released each and every detail to the public, without your knowledge or assent?

It would be completely unprofessional of us to tell you every last detail you'd like to hear. We're saying all we can say in order to keep you informed, while still honoring Sega/VC's privacy.

Well I will say this, fossen. If it's a game stopping bug and you guys know it will impact everyone that buys the game, then I think you owe it to the guys that read this site everyday to tell us about it.

If they sent you guys the beta and said it was ok to put up impressions then they should know what to expect.

Of course this is pure speculation, but the tone and duration of the delay tells me that there must be something seriously wrong with the game. Or you guys pissed them off and they told you to quit posting impressions of the beta.

Either way, it's not good.
