Not necessarily; trolliing can be just a bunch of overly negative comments, usually repeated ad nauseum, over small issues. Lots of times it's about a game that the troller hasn't even played. It's done with the intention to get a rise out of people or to vent prepubescent sexual frustrations.

Maybe trolling has different meanings for different people!!!

Man you guys must still believe in Santa Claus. I'll wait until ESPN, panned by EVERY review so far for gameplay as well as other issues (read new IGN post), with very little graphical improvement from last year as evidenced in videos and screenies, has been in your consoles for a week, and you same posters start complaining here.

To help you out, "disappointed" is spelled D-I-S-A-P-P-O-I-N-T-E-D.

      * And no, I take no pleasure in this view, I was hoping ESPN would be great as I was pleasantly surprised by their football game last year and played WSB to death. This just isn't looking like their year for baseball.

Too bad there isn't something available to fix ESPN's terrible swing animations. I'm going to get the game, but don't know if I'll be able to put up with the swing animations. To me the Pitcher/Batter interface is the most important aspect of a baseball game. When that's broke or ugly, I have a hard time playing the game.

Again, how does a swing animation effect the pitcher batter interface? Remember you're looking from the back side of the batter.

Statistically it doesn't. However, it bothers me looking at it (from an aesthetic standpoint).

the swing animations arent that bad on hr's. i just got done playing a game of wsb2k3 i was the legends. i hit 8 hr's 2 of them were off pitches low and inside the rest were middle of plate and up. the animations on the 2 low pitches were bad the ball never got anywhere near the bat, but on the others the animations were good the ball looked like it hit the bat. so they arent terrible just need a little tweaking on the low pitches

I didn't notice how poorly the swing animations were until I played the other baseball titles last year. However, I had so much fun playing WSB2k3 last year, that I didn't care. I loved the cutscenes when a batter got on base, I loved the ESPN overlays, etc. But the swing animations look like the batter is swinging a golf-club instead of a bat.
