Bought all 4 Baseball titles this year (even MLB 2005).
I was suprised with MLB 2005...good game (picked it up after I read posts about the game here).
All this years baseball games are good.
Like all sports games, each has their good and bad points.
Just a matter of finding the game you get the most enjoyment out of playing.
Have played about 20 games each of MVP, ASB, and MLB...only played 5 of ESPN.
ESPN is my favorite, though I've only played 5 games.
I can tell ESPN will be my baseball game of choice this year...last year I bought WSB & ASB (kept going back and forth between the two games).
I took MVP and MLB back to EB today for store credit. ASB will be going back to EB for store credit soon too.
I give ESPN a score of 9, IMO.

They're all so damn good...it's insane. I wish i could mold all 4 games together. This years basetball wasn't as good as this years baseball. I played ESPN basketball (always used to be my favorite basketball series) but it was too arcadey this year(superman dunks). NBA Live was also too arcadey (hop step button), but a tad more fun than ESPN's. I thought Inside Drive was the BEST basketball game this year...and one of the best basketball games I've ever played.....but when it comes to this years baseball...it's too hard to say which is the best, cuz they're all excellent in their own way. My ratings have MVP as the highest score, but I wouldn't consider it the BEST game. It just gets those few extra tenths for improving over last years game drastically, and those are kudos to EA.Comment

I am very pleased with the quality of Espn Baseball's gameplay. In some ways the animations are a little basic (i don't know if they push the consoles limits or not ), It plays a little raw but the basics of the game are excellent.
in comparison , i haven't played mvp and i would give wsb2k3 a 7 if matched up.
i can't wait for the xbox2 engines to power sega's game.
