8 - 8.75

So far i give it an 8. IF online stays good then i would bump it up to like a 8.75. I don't give any games a 10 so an 8 is pretty good.

I am very pleased with the quality of Espn Baseball's gameplay. In some ways the animations are a little basic (i don't know if they push the consoles limits or not ), It plays a little raw but the basics of the game are excellent.

in comparison , i haven't played mvp and i would give wsb2k3 a 7 if matched up.


i can't wait for the xbox2 engines to power sega's game.

Having only played a few games 8.5. Overall most of the things I complained about from last year were fixed so it made me happy.

I agree. It is actually having the reverse effect as intented as it is drawing more attention to the issue. I probably wouldn't have even known about the issue if they didn't have it highlighted as you enter the forum. It's making people read and at least *consider* FP's comments where otherwise they wouldn't have even known or cared about them.

Anyway, I am enjoying the game. Based soley on early impressions it is probably somewhere between and 8 and 9.

Upon my early impressions I would give the game an 9.25, only taking fractions of a point off for a silent crowd and horrible swing animations, the rest of the game is great. The extra game modes I don't rate because I never touch that crap in sports games anyways, I buy a baseball game to play a baseball game.
