    Traded it in today...

and I'm feeling kind of bad.

In the end I just couldn't handle the bugs, but what really did it was the bad design. Menus were awful, interface was disgusting, and I realized, about fifteen games into the season, that I just wasn't enjoying it.

So, I played one final game, Sox v. Yankees at Yankee Stadium. In the bottom of the ninth I noticed a set of plane lights streaking over the stadium. Kind of poetic that the last thing I saw was the great design, yet the rest of the inning was terrible baseball.

Anyway, I feel bad because I feel like I should be against EA at all times, ya know? I always root for the underdog, yet I couldn't find it in me to even play the game for a day. Really sad.

i don't know about trading it in. i'm just getting into the game and i'm tring to decide how i feel about it as well. for $20, it's not a bad alternative from MVP2005...
I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...

MVP05 doesn't need an alternative. It's the real deal

Im also leaning towards trading it in. I just can't get into it as much as MVP.

It feels just like last year's game. Which I didn't enjoy much.

                Few things that annoy me.

Fielding animations. The crouching has got to go!!
                Batting stances.
Player faces aren't done well. This needs to be worked on for next year.
New K-zone pitching. Takes too long to complete a game.
Using classic pitching you can pinpoint your pitch with ease. Not realistic.
Having to change your batting and pitching camera when playing home and away. I like using the btp cam for pitching and low with no zoom for batting.

Have you tried adjusting the sliders? (specifically pitching variability)

Despite the flaws I dont feel like its bad enough to trade it in...especially since it only cost 20$.

The sliders do work. Also, when pitching in Classic mode, with all the aids off, don't dwell on the spot you want to throw the ball, like you're trying to pinpoint it. If you want a ball low and away, flick the lever quickly to that spot and pitch the ball.

I've had the CPU throw me four straight balls in a row (by looking at the ball indicator after I swing). The problem is patience. I could walk 3, 4 times in a game easy if I were more patient.
