There are obviously some flaws but I don't think it's worth trading it in anyways. The wild pitch problem is annoying and the fielding animations are below average, but I feel like the K Zone Pitching is pretty good, True Aim batting is decent if you get the hang of it and the ESPN presentation is nice. The key is adjusting the sliders so that you get a good game. If you don't, you probably won't enjoy it much.

I'm feeling your post sput. call me selfish, but with the lower price tag and customizable soundrack, I really wanted this to be the better game. It's like I feel bad for Kush or something, b/c I can tell they worked really hard on this game.

i'm finding with classic pitching and variability at 100 my pitchers throw many balls, its not easy to pinpoint every pitch, if you try the cpu will clobber them, also feel that the faces in this game are far and away better than mvp 2005, i realize some aren't that great but many are, i'm quite enjoying the game, i also like the batting cam in this game better than mvp, in mvp i always feel like i'm looking down at the strikezone in mlb 2k5 i feel like i'm lower and more in line with the pitcher, i also love the fielding cam, it gets you right down in the action.

I play the game from time to time as a break from MVP. I can go play MVP about 3 games in a row until I need to stop. MLB fits the bill as a change of pace game. I wouldn't put it as my primary baseball game, but for 20 bucks it plays a good 2nd fiddle to MVP.

I'm going to talk good about 2K5 for once. I like K-Zone pitching. With the speed all the way up, I throw a ton of balls, and give up walks. More walks that I ever give up in MVP, no matter what.

I got trounced by the Red Sox tonight, playing as the Yanks, but it was a good, realistic trouncing. A Schilling vs. Pavano, hung a curve to Bill Mueller, 8-3 kind of trouncing. I enjoyed the presentation. The commentary is top notch. I think the "high" batting camera is a great view to pitch from.

The CPU threw three passed balls. I advanced on one of them, the first one. It didn't bother me that much.

MVP is giving me good love, but 2K5 was fun tonight.

Sorry that you felt the need to trade in MLB 2K5. I think with the amount of time for development & the creation of basically a "NEW" game I feel Kush did an amazing job. Yeah it has some bugs. But if you can look by those you can enjoy this game. I know I am. I have adjusted the sliders & are having very realistic stats & games. With everything NEW has to come change. Getting use to change takes patience.

MLB 2k5 = Great Game (In my opinion)

MVP 2005 = MVP 2004 (Version 2 - Just with the new Owner Mode and stupid mini-modes)

I love MLB 2k5's online, not very much lag at all, not everyone uses the Red Sox and the Yankees on MLB 2k5's online.

Unlike MVP, it's very laggy, alot of people use the Sox and the Yanks. It's rediculous
                            Go Braves
                            Go Rams
                            Go Rockets

One thing gets me is...some people are dumb, especially when they say "sports games are all the same", when really, they're different...

And how much credit are you getting for this game?7 bucks?Geez I don't understand why peope, trade in 20$ games to get credit that probably won't even equal to half of the purchase price.
