Isn't working. It's okay, though... I never had any problems with this after I figured that I'd just slide into bags, but I'm just letting everybody else know why it's like how it is.

I understand what you're saying, but I guess my game is messed up so that it doesn't allow me to do so. I'm trying it as I speak... if I am running to second base and have already assigned my runner to go all the way home, if I press R, it retreats the runner back to first base; it doesn't assign him to third base like it does for you.

So if you are running to second base and cycle all the way to H. When you hit the R trigger it doesnt regress from 3-2-1 ???

Thats a crazy problem.

Thanks for the tutorial. Hadn't figured that out, now maybe my baserunning won't kill me like it has.

What I mean is that people were complaining that their runners would just continue to round bases without stopping... it's because they pressed L (or left on the D-pad) one or two too many times. Here is the reason why, and it's because the game has those predetermine controls.

You can turn off the auto round base option. The baserunner will just stop at each base until you tell him to advance.

Yeah, but I don't think you can do this for general online games.

I knew about the 'queuing' of your guys so they will automatically run to however many bases you tell them....and how to make them go back. I have a hard time telling just one person what to do...no matter what combinations I hit the buttons. I have run myself out of quite a few innings.

I need to practice some more but I still prefer the old way games had you run bases.
