It's definitely bad over there. I read the thread you are talking about and you and tonybologna asked very fair questions and made solid points. It seemed that the answers given were not by any means logical as it was never a problem in the past.
I understand and even respect the fact that 2K wants to take any and all likeness out of their game concerning minor league players, I really do...but that is why unlimited roster editing capabilities is an absolute must. We were told that perhaps having a limit keeps the game from experiencing other problems, but why then, did 2K tell us that there was NOT *any* roster editing restrictions this year? I mean, it came straight from their mouths, but now, when we uncover that there is indeed a limit, they send a guy back with an answer that says, "Well, it might affect the rest of the game."
It just seems fishy to me...and they are so quiet about it. I especially loved when someone over there called you "irrational" when you were only seeking answers and asking very fair and logical questions. If 2K would have just came out from the start and said, "Yes, there are editing restrictions due to it affecting the rest of the game," you would have people that would not like it, but they would understand and respect it. What really irks people to no end is the quietness of it all, and being told that there were no restrictions. Nothing anyone said in that thread in defense of 2K made any sense to me and still doesn't.
Harsh, you talked about laziness and that is exactly what it is. Look at the damn player photos for a perfect example of this. Edinson Volquez is STILL in a Rangers' hat even though he hasn't been apart of their organization in almost THREE (3!) years. Same with Ken Griffey, Jr. and countless other players and their portraits who have been forgotten about for years. It's a big deal to me because it simply shows laziness. I play with the Mariners and four guys in my lineup wear an M's hat, the rest of the team looks like I did a fantasy draft.
