And I promise I'll get the file up... But once the anticipation attribute is changed to 25, that will be IT for that file as any idea of having 2 rosters will be gone. That will mean two separate people will be working on it.

My opinion: let's change it to the 25 anticipation attribute. Everything I'm reading says it makes the game play MUCH smoother and no noticeable differences in player overalls. Looks like the only change that will need to be made is to just up the OF speed to 10? (I'm using IF and OF at 5 right now, so I'll probably lower IF down to 0 and keep OF at 5 or raise it to 10).

I might be able to get the file up tonight (late). I want to watch the IU-Michigan basketball game.

Note that I've been keeping an eye on the minor leagues and have even created/added about 5 guys that were not even in the file...

Also: does anyone have a link where the NON-ROSTER INVITEES are shown? I used to have one bookmarked a few years ago, but when my old laptop went toast I lost all my bookmarks. Didn't know if anyone knew of the best site to find the full Spring Training rosters. Thanks!

Mk, I have a version of reditor that can do the global edits. If you want I can do the anticipation edits to the roster and post a link to it in the other thread (noting that it is your roster with edits). Just let me know if you want me to or not.

Yes, and thank you!!! Will you be able to do every player on all teams, including Free Agents?

Also, there was some talk about raising the catcher "block the plate" attribute 99 for all catchers too... After the video footage I watched (in the other thread) I LOVE that idea. That animation was sick - had never seen that before...

Stupidly I had another awesome replay at home plate, this time the catcher held the ball. It was sick. Blocked home plate on his knees with this chin and glove down and the runner slid short and hard in and was totally stopped dead in his tracks.

However, I mashed and left the screen before saving the replay....dumb! My fault, but 99 is the way to go.

I will say, 100% from what I've seen, 25 ant is the way to go. Especially this late in the game's life. Either way, great work by everyone involved.

Much like NHL 2k10, this is another very very underrated game that we are making better through community efforts. LOVE IT!

Now how do we get those lazy pitchers to get their asses over to cover first every time??!!

The global editor from what I can tell isn't the greatest. It appears as though when you raise or lower an attribute it's totally across the board for every player on the roster. Now that will work fine for the anticipation edit as we want everyone lowered but as far as the plate blocking attr. you can't just specify catchers. That wouldn't be a big deal though as there aren't that many anyways.

I would say both can be a valid option. MK's are what I used in my franchise and they were awesome. As I find myself with less time I see the sliders I am currently using that I can play a quicker game, even if only by 10 minutes. As a teacher, pitching instructor to 40 high school kids a week and a head high school coach, my time is limited at best.

Either way, I think both can be adjusted slightly to play great with the new smoother animations. To me, as long as it is competitive I'm good.

Like I said before. Community efforts are / should be the next big thing in sports games. Just gonna take a company to take it seriously. What was done in NHL 2k10 is outrageous due to a huge community effort, shoot, we still have updated rosters to date today!

In this thread alone, how many countless hours have been spent making rosters, sliders, attributes, etc. We care, input and work together. Now lets keep this train a rollin. Proud to be a part, thanks for having me.

I played ten games with the new rosters and the anticipation 25 change. I gotta agree totally with the change . I dropped my power hitting number by 5 seems ok. the catcher block 99 is stellar. seeing alot of new animations in the field with these attribute tweaks.

NOTE: I have done ALL MAJOR LEAGUE catchers - they have the 99 blocking plate rating AND the 25 anticipation ratings done to all of them. I have NOT done any of the free agents. I have NOT done any of the AAA, AA or A catchers - only major leaguers.

Well seeing as though the roster you've posted already has some edits done i'll just post the fully edited roster here if that's ok.

This is MKharsh and Bretzky's roster, i've simply finished editing all players to have 25 anticipation and all catchers to have 99 plate blocking rating.

I don't know how to post rosters like MK does so this is a rar file, just d/l and extract with winrar.

Just thought I better add that I think I forgot to resign this roster before editing so you may have to d/l Modio. Run modio then "open save" click "rehash and resign" button then save to your usb.

Many, many thanks!!! I will look at this later - got church this morning and then we're hosting a super bowl party for the youth group tonight, so it's gonna be a LONG day (I've got a LOT of running to do this afternoon to finish some things up & some cooking to do). Really appreciate this and I'm looking forward to reviewing it!!

(I will post my slider set that I'm using after I play a few games with this to test the OF speed and the hit power sliders. I've made a couple small tweaks to the previous set that really brings it out - see my slider thread for those details until I post here for the kind of hitting & pitching I use. Thanks again!!).

Just d-loaded the newest set and watching a CPU-CPU game. I have a few questions about the set; 1) will positions be edited to depict real life and will names be edit for current players (Mike Stanton/Giancarlo Stanton)? It sucks that we can't do either straight ouf-of-the-box.
