Again, guys, awesome job...makes the game that much more enjoyable, but....and just asking, when would i be able to see the AAA switch between the Jays and the Mets? This is really the last piece of the puzzle for me, then it's hardcore season time....also, does anyone know if the swap was made in 2K13?

Sorry for my silence guys, I have been really busy. I will do the ratings for the rest of the teams the next time the roster rolls around. I would appreaciate it if someone fixed the pitch types (there are also some FA's) PM me if interested. But if not I geuss I will do that too.

I posted a new file on 2K Share. But I'd like to post another one, both there and here (offline) before the next person takes it.

Here's a request: some of you guys sitting on the sidelines watching need to TYPE OUT some helpful information here and provide it for us. The research is the hardest part. For example, go through the teams that Bretsky noted a few pages back where the pitchers got pitches that were screwed up. Go to fangraphs.com and then provide us with the list of each pitcher - noting his pitch types, pitch speeds, and the percentages he throws those pitches. We could really use the help.

Also, when someone takes this file after me, and uses the REDitor, I'm guessing we'll have the same problem where the newly created players I've added will screw up. So I don't know what we'll do about that - guess we'll burn that bridge when we get there.

Regarding the question above on switching the minor league affiliates for the Mets & Blue Jays... I have no idea if that can be done. I'm guessing it can because the file I provided for 2K13 (this file that was ported there) had those two switched back to where they were for last season (just like in 12).

I am tracking all news - I've got a running list that I keep on my phone's notes. News is coming in quickly, with many changes. We'll try our best to work together and see how well this continues to go.

Note: I read a blog article the other day where it gave a run-down of all the top prospects that have had a solid spring. I added Maurer (Mariners) and Khris Davis (Brewers) to the file so all of those players mentioned in that article are now included in this file.

I will try to help with the pitches, but could we take a file before all the pitches got screwed up and replace the pitches with reditor?

And I might be able to take the file and change faces to make them look more accurate to the players. So MK doesn't have try to find one that matches all the time. But this is only a suggestion. If you dont want me to I wont.

Can't wait to see how well your Brandon Maurer and mine match.

That is a great Idea. Just the REDitor name glitch might be a problem. And the last file was the one that went up before I updated the ratings

IF you want me to I can do my suggestion, or you can do it, I dont care. But if I do it I need to know what players/team I need to do it on, and what file to use to correct the pitches, Thanks!

Hey guys. First off, thanks a lot for all of the hard work. No matter how many times we say, you all are amazing!

I have gone through a lot of the posts, but not all, and haven't seen anything regarding this topic. Do we know what is causing the difference in total amount of games scheduled to different teams within a season? For example- teams will have a proper slate of 162 games, but then others will have 170 or 156, etc. I am guessing it has to do with switching HOU to the AL, but just wanted to check.

Probably Sunday night or Monday morning. The roster changes/transactions/decisions are flying off the charts. Trying to keep up with everything...

Also, if I were you, I'd hold off on putting your prospects in the file until the "official opening day" file is released. You'd probably be wasting your time as there will be improvements made, and probably some more players added (if necessary early on). Just a suggestion...

Hey mk, I was wondering, how do you and the guys decide what site you reference for pitch types is most accurate?

I'm doing roster edits for another baseball game and when creating pitchers I usually consult Fangraphs. Fangraphs actually provides PITCHFX's pitch types along with their own, and sometimes it's different.

For example, Nick Vincent of the Padres. Not many scouting reports on him but Fangraphs shows a 40% fastball and a 57% cutter. On the other hand, PITCHFX has a 28% fastball, 14% cutter, and 51% slider. Also I guess you have to factor in that some scouting reports will also possibly say something different.

I'd like to know what you guys think. Thanks.

throws fastball 58% of the time, 2 seam 2.9% of the time, slider 27% of the time, change up 12% of the time

Thank you for posting this a third time! Just because YOU want it done, does not mean that we will stop what we are doing just to fix it, there are plans to fix this. And if you really want it fixed that badly, do it yourself...

What teams have been screwed up with their pitches? When MK releases his next update I will try to fix them!


MK - What players have you created in recent updates? I'm seeing Players with no last names, but dont know their last names lol!

The teams that screwed up are Boston, New York Yankees, Toronto, Indians, Phillies. There are also FA's and some prospects. PM me for those lists if you're 100% interested

The guy is giving you the information to make the change, not simply asking you to do it.

Based on the changes made to those 6 teams it's probably a good idea to provide the information...
