Re: BFJ All-Star " Custom Total Control" Sliders

Just finished a game with the updated sliders (minus the AI Corner)

    Cleveland 7 9 2
    Chicago 1 9 1

I hit .273 as a team... They hit .250.. I struck them out 11 times (8 by Carmona) and I walked them once.

I struck out 8 times.. Walked twice... Probably could have walked more but I hacked a lot towards the end.

I hit one home run, they did not hit one. Overall very well played on these sliders.

yeah i started at legend default and just adjusted the sliders accordingly (sometimes to my best estimate as there are no numbers) and stayed on Custom-A.

Yeah. I'm not sure why people are getting CUSTOM-P when they move the AI Corner Slider to 0. I do believe the method I used was setting AI Pitcher Fatigue all the way to the right & then moved the other AI Pitching Sliders left. If that makes any sense. It's like Fatigue Slider is some how directly affecting the AI Pitching Sliders, which once again lead me to believe RATINGS play a part

Alright, the last installment of sliders was freaking fantastic. Played a triple a game for pads-pirates (two good ones I know) in my franchise. 0-0 into the bot 7th. I k'd 4 times and the cpu 6. I lost 5-0 because bot 7 i hit one guy and threw two meat pitchwes cause of the stupid pit mechanism glitch. It wouldn't recognize my curveball gesture. Got the full power every pitch and made meatballs. Damn good game til that though. Any solutions from you guys to more effectively pitch from the stretch and have pitches recognized? Fast, change never a prob, but sliders and curves dont seem to register with runners on.
My Friend Chris owns me in 2k8. Seriously, I suck.

i ended up increasing the AI Hitter's skill, contact and power and decreasing mine after my last game, and then was finally able to move the AI Corner for 'AI Pitching' down to 0.

I haven't heard back from 2K Sports on if it really matters or not. I've always believed it does. Many feel it doesn't. I would say just set them from LEGEND & don't sweat what it says @ the top unless 2K tells me other wise

Ok I'm an idiot. I go to legend. Now batting skill is set to 50. I move 50 to the right from the legend default or 50 from 0. How many clicks are there anyway from beginning to end?

There are 100 clicks from beginning to end. So basically you could start from 0 or 100 as long as your final slider # is 50. Hope this makes sense

Yes thank you. So we start on legend but your numbers are the "final numbers" where the bar should be, just like always. So if legend default is "65" we need to move back a net of "15"

                      Thanks. [/ dumb me]

That's correct. Don't feel bad, I'm as much as everyone else

Haven't read through this all yet but why are all of the CPU stealing sliders at 0 if they don't work? Is that to keep it at Custom-A?

OK, there's seems to be some confusion & I'm not sure why. Tonight when I get home from work. After 8pm EST. I will re-post the Sliders for the community. I try to do so in a way that makes it easier for everyone. I will also do my best to post better instruction on how to set them.

Now I'm hoping that I can re-do them without screwing-up the Method to my Madness...

Thanks again for all the feedback. BTW do you guys like the new title to the thread?

Figured out the pitching, can't drop AI Skill below 40 though.
