So with the settings I have already mentioned, I have the BPI at 75. Your guess on how much lower. I mean, I can go into BP and hit some out with good timing, but in actual games that damn computer is just painting EVERY CORNER.

I almost regret being put off by pre-patch .400 hitting 4-5 hrs with my stars through 10 games!

Normally I would say drop it by 5 until you get the results you want. With you only getting to play one game a day I think I would drop it by 15 and work it up from there if it produces too much offense.

Yeah, I have a feeling if I could get in several games in a row, I can get auto-pilot down. As for the pitching, I have seen such suggestions as raising the pitcher strike zone tendency a bit to 2-40 (though technically, he is pitching into the strike zone) or possibly lowing pitching success somewhat (currently at 60) to allow my balls and walks?

I'm gonna have to say these are really good user batting settings. I'm finally hitting balls hard and all over the field. Yesterday I played Rangers(Me) vs. Angels. I won 4-1. I got a triple, three or four doubles, singles, and a HR that was a few feet from hitting the foul pole in right field. On the HR I didn't even use the LS so that was awesome to see. Also it wasn't by a guy who has a great deal of power. I think it was with David Murphy but I'm not entirely sure.

Cool. Yeah, I mean all the credit goes to BFJ and other guys on here. What I did was this

I took GURU, BFJ, JBH and put them in a spreadsheet. I then put default All-Star and Default Legend in the same spreadsheet.

I then printed it out and tried to compare all of them and tweak things to my liking.

After the patch I then used default all-star and legend for my hitting settings for me and CPU.

One setting in all star is a 60 and a 40 in legend that I know moving it down makes it harder, up eaiser.

Sadly some settings stay the same so it's tough to tell. I played about 6 games with my latest set and am getting a good variety and some great games.

there are some tweaks I still may try but I don't get to play as much as I would like so I'm rolling with those for now. I'll have to double check to see if they are all correct.

I'm thinking pitcher fatigue needs to be at 50....45 is just a smidge too low. Opposing pitchers are (seemingly) easily lasting 7+ vs me, perhaps I'm just not working the count enough, I generally AT LEAST take the first pitch.

Has there been some general concensus on the cpu pitcher sliders? Possibly my hitting woes are due to some screwed up numbers here. maybe I need to slow the pitches down to old man playing at 4am speed

K, I'm averaging 8 runs on 14 hits through 2 games vs Baltimore and 1 vs KC.

It's tough to tell if my settings are too easy, because I am playing horrible teams with horrible pitching.

My user sliders for hitting are:

                    Success: 60
                    Contact: 50
                    Power: 70

Don't know what other sliders should be listed...I am getting a good variety of hits though, with 6 HR in those 3 games.

                    SUGGESTIONS???

hmmm... i would be glad to do it, however I can't seem to find it.

i wonder if I just printed and never saved it... I've been writing my changes manually on the page I printed it out with.

                      This sucks.

BFJ, im just curious if you will be updating your sliders any further? i am ready with the roster update to start a franchise and am thinking of going with your base set, but want to know if there will be any updates in the near future?

Hey Bigfnjoe, I was wondering if you had pre-patch sliders, or if anyone else does, because I dont have xbox live. I just played my first Franchise game with the Royals vs. The white sox. The final score was 11-8. There was a total of like 7 homeruns in the game, I used these sliders you gave, but im sure they were post-patch so I was wondering if anyone could post the pre-patch sliders. Thanks. Corey. Oh ya also I had zero strikeouts.
