I haven't been using it and I've been getting some good HR numbers. Sometimes I hit 3 HRs in a game sometimes none. I'm even getting some from guys who aren't know for their power, like Damon and Jeter.

Through, the first two weeks of the season ARod leads my team with 5 HRs then Cano and Damon with two HRs each.

That was when I won 20-2 and lesser power players did go deep (Jeff Keppinger, Ramon Hernandez). But the power guys were going deep left and right like it was their job. Hammering pitches that weren't just down the middle. just my experience with it.

Have you ever watched real baseball? Each team plays 162 games and the result vary greatly from night-to-night. What exactly are you looking for? A 3-4 game sample isn't even an accurate representation of anything one way or another. I've got like 8 pages left in this thread but I'm afraid to read them if it's just you whining about normal variance in baseball! j/k

The other hitters in my lineup can't hit one out and won't hit one all season if no variables change.

It feels like 'bottled' gameplay. I'm describing my problem with this set because I'm hoping to get a set that can correct this problem, thats why I'm giving this honest feedback. Not trying to slam the sliders or the efforts that are appreciated.
Then tweak based on your skills. Jeez... quit cryin', homie!!

I am a patient hitter and I don't go up there swinging. I raised the power to 90 and still nothing. I thinking that these sliders really dont do anything to be honest. I am really getting frustrated as many others. They really need to fix in the patch the way this game plays. I even raised the contact from 35-45 and still getting same results and not even getting a home run in my last 10 games. This is getting alittle rediculous now. Of course I don't want every game to be close but we have to have a games that are pretty balanced and they are NOT. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. This game has so much potential. I have to adjust sliders every game to play a balanced game. WTF WTF WTF WTF...lol anyway you know I am not the only one..lol
You've seen SF's lineup, right?? For real though, it's pretty bad!! I think it was the Angels last year or the year before that went something like 9 or 11 games without an HR.

None of this feels real, there is something wrong with every set and I've pointed it out along the way. I'm an avid baseball fan and sim gamer and none of this feels right.
Have you played 162 games yet? No, that's what I thought. Have you made any suggestions for the sliders? No, that's what I thought. Seriously, your whining is ridiculous and entirely unfounded. You complain about a 3-0 game and turn around and complain about a 9-8 game. What ARE you looking for exactly??!?!? You haven't played a reasonable sample to make any judgments off of yet. If you don't like the game, stop playing... no one is forcing you.

curious what you see w/ user baserunning spd at 100.

Do you ever get thrown out either stealing or stretching a 2b to a 3b, or trying to score from 1st on a 2b etc.?

It make User Running Just as fast as AI and you will get more realistic running like running out slow grounders and this is the only way I have been able to steal and still I get tossed out a lot.

I concur, I've been thrown out stealing and trying to score from second on Sizemore. However, has anyone else notice there is no longer that laziness when tagging up anymore?

I'm scoring around 7 runs a game with the Yanks, I might bring down the USER Hitting Success to get better variety of games because I'm getting around 15 hits a game. I'm thinking that the team you play for dictates your USER Batting Success slider, powerful lineups should tone it down while the weaker lineups should increase it a tad.

I moved USER contact to 0 and moved the AI Batting Success up one click and the computer is getting between 5-10 hits a game and scoring between 0-5 runs a game. I usually have one HUGE inning that breaks their back. But, they crush me if I make a mistake pitch up in the zone. Grady Sizemore took me deep (Off Edwar Ramirez), as well as Victor Martinez (Off Sabathia.)

I think with the changes I've made with your sliders this game is fun again. I thank you for that SFGiantsPBA, I really appreciate it because I was ready to give up on this game.

SF please help!! I played five games with your sliders and I have to say thanks you are almost saving this game for me. Everything plays great with exception of k's I think I have about 7k's in 5 games. No matter how I pitch the computer the always seem so drive an 0-2 pitch down and away I never strike the cpu out. I'm throwing borderline changes curves and I'm even throwing them in the dirt to no avail.

If this stupid AI aggressiveness was fixed I could enjoy this game enough not to switch to ps3!

Your going to just have to get better at pitching take a look at my 1st post I added a video of a looking strikeout!

Also the patch will fix the aggression so just hold on a bit and we will have smarter AI Hitters!

                                Re: SFGiantsPBA's Sliders

I've been messing around with the different sets, getting ready to start a franchise. I wonder if it's actually possible to walk a CPU hitter on your sliders? I've heard that steals are possible and a real part of the game with your sliders, but a gamebreaker is when I can just paint every pitch right where I want it.

I obviously don't expect to walk many with Verlander/Halladay, etc - but can I expect decent walk totals? I know I'll be able to walk at the plate, but this is a big thing to me. Other than that, the few innings I've played here lead me to believe I'll be starting my chise tonight.

Please give me some feedback on our user pitchers walking CPU hitters. If there isn't any chance I need to keep testing.

Thanks for all your hard work, sir.
