Ok I'm not hitting any homeruns now. Everything else is great but I lack power. I put User power up to 70, should I try uping the hit direction thing?

Guru, I just noticed our batting sliders are very similar. I have success at 30.

Mustang, you will still get home runs with the batting sliders how they have set. I hit one with a pitcher the other day. I hit two last night. You are not going to see the major power shots each and every at bat, BUT that does not mean you won't hit homeruns. You just have to wait and your players ratings will dictate it more. Your bigger power hitters who have better batting averages will still crush balls here and there. I crushed one out the park with McCann two days ago. The cool thing is you won't see those HUGE shots often, but when you see them you are like "DANG!!!! McCann got all of that one!!!"

I would stick with it how Guru or myself has. Over the course of a season you should end up with pretty good HR numbers.

For sure, I hit up and left or right (to pull) and I'm getting a realistic amount of Home Runs through my first 23 games. Mike Jacobs (I drafted a team) has 6 and believe it or not, Ronnie Belliard has 4 which ties him with the Hebrew Hammer for second on the team.

Getting good games, however I have yet to hit a single home run through 9 games. Nor have I given up a HR. I upped power after game 6 to 75. Still none.. What slider can i adjust to get some more pop? Im not even putting shots to the warning track with Howard, Utley and I signed Frank Thomas. Worth.. No one.

increase power to 85-100 and success to 50-70. Also use the swing stick.
