So far these are the best sliders I've tried so far. I'm seeing linedrives, and balls hit to different areas of the field very hard. Good job..

i think i'm gonna give these a shot...i'm having very little fun using the right swing stick... I want a challenge, but striking out 12-15 times a game isn't much fun.

Two complete games Gorzelanny ( of all people )

Still the only statistical issue is Aram is still hitting .442 after 20 games....but I have a feeling that is more to do with his rating , then ur sliders bro

I still endorse the hell out of these sliders bro. They have so much variance, and that really adds to the feel of the season. Like I have said before.....sliders may not be able to make a game perfect, but they can make it perfect for you, and thats what these have done.

tried these for the first time... REALLY liked them. I've made a few tweaks for my liking (mostly the pitching, which I find to be too easy), but I had a fun game.

I've got to get used to this, as I've always used the swing stick.

Question: is there a way to "check swing" with this type of hitting? I've spent years playing MVP 05 for the old xbox, and I've got some bad habits (on that game if you "barely" touched the A button you could check swing, but I've noticed that's not the case with this game). Any thoughts on this? Thanks, and appreciate these! I'm definitely sticking with them...

As an aside, I'm working on a set of opening day rosters that will be solid. I did a set last year that were downloaded in the thousands, and I've been putting hours of time into them. They'll be ready on Opening Day (for the 360)...

I've not had chance to use these sliders yet as the PC version still doesn't have the classic hitting option! :/ I've decided that I really hate the swing stick! Strangely enough I love the pitching but I find the swing stick really frustrating. Not good for my rage! LOL

Just wondering if you are using these for 360 or PS3 version?

2 more games in with these last night, the only beef I have with this set it there are way too many hits by both me and the cpu. Not too many runs just too many runs, it seems like the cpu gets 2 hits every game. I think I am going to turn down the hum and cpu contact one notch each. With that being said this set is still really fun to play with. Below are my two games from last night.
GAME 1
REDS 7 FLA 4
I had 16 hits while FLA had 14, both teams hit 2 hrs (Nix, Phillips for me).
I jumped out to a 7-1 lead only to see FLA have a chance to tie it in the ninth. They had the bases loaded down 7-4 with only 1 out but I struck out two straight batters to end it.
GAME 2
FLA 7 CIN 4
FLA again had alot of hits they had 17. I ended up with only 9 and again I hit 2 HRs (Hernandez and Phillips). Like I mentioned above the cpu just gets a ton of hits off of me, it seems like they get aleast 2 baserunners every inning. I think I had 1 inning in the two games in which the cpu went 1,2,3 in an inning. I hit my spots but the cpu just hits good pitches.
Do you guys pitch to the location the cpu wants you to??

Yes I let the catcher call the game.

I agree with getting too many hits so far, that seems to be the only major problem with the sliders. Not sure if I sure lower contact or raise fielder speed a notch. Will do some testing with both options.

There are no check swing with classic hitting.
You either swing with the button or you dont, there is no going back once you hit the button to swing.

Thought this was supposed to be in the patch, but I haven't been able to do it. I have seen the CPU check swing quite a few times.

If I use your sliders with the total control hitting,will it work???
