The CPU is hitting many foul balls and great hit variety with these AI batting sliders. In my last game the CPU hit 28 foul balls. The pitch counts seem to be very realistic also.

The Foul ball count for the CPU is usually around 10 to 25 per game and 28 is the extreme top part of the range. In the last several games, I have been getting a lot of strike outs, BUT I have been playing some bad teams. The CPU seems to hit more foul balls off of change ups and curves. The average is probably around 15.

                        hey lightning,

i tried your sliders for CPU batting and they were pretty cool but the CPU takes way too many pitches. i tested this by throwing a first pitch fastball down the plate to everybody in the yankee lineup and only one guy swung at it

on the other hand i struck out 5 guys in 3 innings with vasquez against detroit and it all seemed legit, but they really do take too many pitches, almost like til they're alway's 0-2

i tried modifying your sliders a little and then i ran into the same problems i've always had, so i don't know what to do, how have your games been going? do you always get an automatic 0-1 count on hitters or are you getting pounded when you do that?

i've noticed one thing, season mode is the way to go, the depth charts work in season mode, and since the franchise mode is worhtless anyway, i'd suggest playing a season

They do take a lot of pitches, but it varys some from game to game. There are games where the CPU will swing often on the first or second pitch and get a hit. Then there are those games where they often take too many pitches, but overall after about 30 games the pitch counts are realistic and I do give up more walks than with my old sliders.
