By the way, I've been playing with Pitch Speed on 100, and I like it a lot more. Raise your Human Contact slider maybe a few, though.
I've never messed with sliders before, I always wait for people to post them. But I suppose I could try it out. I'll post some updates once I finish putting FA's on teams.

Re: Blzer's Pro sliders: One-button swinging

I must of just gotten lucky or something because I just played a game against the A's and there was only 2 wild pitches. I ended up winning 4-2. 2 HR's again...a solo jack with Dunn and a 2 run-hr with randa along with getting a run in thanks to a wild pitch. Only one walk by the A's, but I was really agressive for some reason or else there would of been 3-4 walks.

      Zito - 5 hits, 2 R/ER, 1 BB and 8 K's
      Milton - 5 hits, 2R/ER, 0 BB and 5 K's

It was a really close, realistic game and I only touched a few sliders. Here were my changes -

      Batter Contact: 57
      Pitcher Interface Speed: 98
      Pitcher Fatigue: 50
Injuries: 25 (I still haven't seen an injury)
      AI Contact: 50

Oh and I finally got to do a wall jump. I did with Adam Dunn and it was awesome! After he went over the wall to catch it when he came down he fell to the ground, rolled a bit and then slowly got up. (looked so realistic)

Which Pitcher Fatigue? CPU or Human?

BTW I also touched many of my sliders. New one coming up later tonight... I mean, the last one wasn't bad, I just want some things redone.

Human fatigue. Though I might put it up to 55 or 60.

Haha I have that one up at 72 or something right now. Really makes you work in the late innings.

Re: Blzer's Pro sliders: One-button swinging

Hey Blzer, great job on the sliders so far The only changes I've had to make is for fatigue, which I bumped down 5 from your setting(71) the reason I did this was I couldn't get my sp out of the 4th inning (I can't recall his pitch count, but it wasn't high at all),and the other one was for my outfielders speed (bumped up 5) man I tell ya those dudes couldn't run ANYTHING down . After I made those changes I had the best game I've had in a long time,I took the Dodgers to Cleveland for a little interleague exibition action, and it took me till the 13th to pull this one out,Gagne(sp) blew the save (I was up 6-4) gave up a double and a hr to Coco Crisp (great name btw). But let me just say,the flow of the game was absolutely flawless! Again great job and I'm almost afraid to see any changes you might have made lol.
A quick question though........ would it be a good idea to also lower the fatigue for the cpu pitching? The only reason I ask is because the pitch count seems to be a tad bit low.

Lower the fatigue for it? Possibly... I'm going to look into that.

I actually like the fact that my guys can't run down these hits, makes for more extra base hits.

And, as for my fatigue, I'm going to lower it after this game... maybe 6 or 7. It's just that then Eric Milton has the big advantage of keeping so much fatigue for so long.

If you're seeing too many hits your outfielders can't reach, then you should align your outfield a certain way, and try to pitch to locations that induce them to hit into the shift. Brings more realistic strategy into the game. I'm pretty sure if you don't manually do it, the fielders automatically stay in the 'normal' position, however I'm not sure on that yet, I'll test it later tonight. The other team did hit 2 triples in the first game I used with the sliders, but both were hits that would have been triples in real life anyways, and on the 2nd one, I almost threw the guy out at 3rd.

Keep us updated Blzer. My game is in your hands. Oh yeah, and any game i lose I'm holding you PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE! My GM Career mode is as the DBacks, so I know you're rooting against me.:P
