I tried the first sliders out in my first game and the kzone moves really fast. First 2 guys hit HR's against me. got a little better after that.

Yeah I am still having trouble with it. Though the game I just played against the white sox (somehow only lost 2-0) I had LOTS of trouble, like 2 mistake pitches per batter...but it was probably because I played the game at 12 AM.

If your pitcher has a lot of confidence, you shouldn't have too many problems.

The only thing that I fear is not the amount of balls that are pitched, but the amount of mistake pitches that are pitched. That's why, with a pitcher with very low confidence, you want to not use too much effort on their pitches.

Don't take what I just said for a grain of salt. It definitely may be just one pitch that makes the difference of as to whether you win or lose your game.

what do you mean by "effort on pitches" ?? Something to do with holding the button down harder????

Also, I can't figure out how to throw more balls... Even with the K-zone meter going really fast.

                  Pitch corners.

And yes, I mean holding down the button. Maybe that was your problem for not pitching enough balls or mistake pitches.

wait now: i thought in order to pitch, you press twice to set the location-the first time to set horizontal and the second time to set vertical and that's it. i'm confused.

When you first select the pitch how long you hold the button determines the "effort" applied(it also decreases the size of the circle around the location). Watch the pitching instruction video, I was confussed for a while as well, but the video explains everything about KZone.
