does anybody have a roster file for gamecube. I have an action replay and gameshark, and I know there are people out there that update it themselves. I know nobody cares, but it would be nice to have the updates for it.

Hey there, I actually have been working on a GameCube file (Which I play on my Wii) off and on since the 2008 postseason, and as of the World Series, I had all the MLB Level Rosters up to date, and I was just putting finishing touches on pitcher styles and pitches, as well as playing around with some formulas for calculating ratings.
Anyway, I have resumed, once again, and I hope to finish soon, and at least by the time the season starts. I am only focusing on the MLB Level, although I have many of the top prospects on their correct teams in the Minors. Anyway, reply to this thread, and we can get to talking.Comment

Well, I'll tell you what, I am going to continue to work on the Roster File, and I will bookmark this thread, so I can give updates.
I'm pretty busy with work among other things, so who knows how long it will take, but I'd like to be done by Opening Day. I'll cross my OWN fingers, haha.Comment

I have been on EA Mods before, but just looking around. I'm not a contributor or anything.
Most of the CAPs I've done for players who came up from 2005-2007 or so, I have gotten from Rashidi's CAPs, then I update them and put them on the correct teams.
Now, most of the CAPs I have to do myself, since there isn't much of a community (that I know of) that still pays attention to this game, especially for the Gamecube. But hey, I think it's fun to update the rosters.Comment

I'm playing it on my wii until the show comes out. The gameplay in this game is just awesome. I will go so far as to say that the gameplay is just as good, if not better than The Show.Comment

As of this morning, all the MLB Rosters have the correct players, and I am working on Rating Updates for all Batters (about 1/4 done). Still need to update pitchers after that, but I'm getting there.Comment

Yes, things are definitely still in motion, but it's taking a bit longer than expected just because of my other responsibilities (relationship, work, etc.). I am still looking to be done by the time the season starts.
Currently, I am updating all the offensive and defensive ratings for all the batters on every MLB roster, as well as some AAA players in each organization.
When that is complete (I'm about halfway done with that portion), I am going to update the pitching, batting and defensive ratings for all the pitchers on every MLB roster.
I will continue to update my progress on this thread.
