In order to make this roster file, you need to edit the no-name, fictional players from the minors and make them into the present players. You have to be careful, though, as SOME of the minor league players, especially the Baseball America Top 100 players, represent actual players.

Re: gamecube mvp
This is great. I am also a 360 owner (and Wii). How much are these updates gonna cost? And how much are memory cards costing for the gamecube? Also, can I play MVP 2005 with a Wii Remote? Or must I use the Gamecube controller?
I had MVP 2005 for the Xbox and had so much fun with it. It's a shame that 2ksports screwed up MLB 2k9 so bad.Comment

Re: gamecube mvp
Josh, I do not know how much Gamecube memory cards cost, but I plan on having people send me their memory cards in padded envelopes ONLY (Thanks, Raiders), along with $5, so that the memory cards can travel safely. To play the game, you must have a Gamecube controller, which can easily be found at any GameStop, etc.
I am not planning on updating contracts, as I am updating a roster file, not an Owner-Mode file. I don't even know if you can update those on the Gamecube. Not everything can be updated on the console versions of the game like they can be on the PC version.
Thanks for your interest!Comment

Re: gamecube mvp
I've been editing my rosters by hand since I got the game for Christmas in 2004. Obviously by the date I'm talking about MVP 2004.
Anyway, going into the season... my rosters had been deleted and I had to start fresh. Thankfully it isn't as hard as friends think it is!
How are you guys dealing with the Nationals? Just using the Expos?Comment
