    I like this for one reason:

    When a minor leaguer is on fire and gets called up in real life...BAM...I can edit him to improve his stats and make him actually a MLB talent, not 52 contact 28 power, with 70 fielding and 60 throwing strength/accuracy.

      I like the ability to edit players in owner mode for a few of reasons:

      1. Players diminish in talent far too early in this game. Players in their prime drop off a lot and its pretty stupid. At age 28, I had Juan Uribe get hit with -10's and -13's for all of his hitting stats after spring training when he was coming off a season where he hit .320 with 38 homeruns, not to mention a great spring training. It was just unrealistc, so I reset him basically.

      2. I get tired of playing those mini games 5 times each in spring training. Rather than play the pitching one, I just take 5 pitchers and add +5 to control for all pitches (since I've never failed to get less than +5 and I've never gotten more). I do the same for batters only its +3 which is the average of what I was getting when playing the hitting mini game. It makes spring training far less tedious.

      3. Its good to change positions of minor league players. I had a great second baseman in my minor league system, but needed a shortstop so I switched his position. These are things managers would normally teach a player how to do in real life but the game doesn't do it.

      4. You can add pitches to minor leaguers. I've had some nice prospects come up that can't even throw a breaking ball or starters with only three pitches (4 seamer, 2 seamer, Change) and that just won't cut it at the major league level. When adding a new pitch, I'll make it equal to or worse than the pitcher's current worst pitch and let him build it up naturally. For velocity and movement I just guess based on the velocity and movement of the pitcher's other pitches and by comparing him with similar pitchers.

      5. Changing numbers. It annoys some people to have players with the same number on their team and this feature lets you change that.
