    Wilson10's MVP 2005 All-Star sliders

Here is a set of sliders that me and a few others are getting good results with. I have played with every set of sliders on OS. Pro, All-Star and MVP. I really liked the way the game plays on BOTH Pro and MVP, problem there is that you run out of room for the small adjustments. On Pro, to me the pitching is too easy, on MVP (with Skyboxers sliders) the game is pretty much perfect with a few tweaks. It just seems the AI friggin cheats on that level, just like all EA games. So anyhow here are my sliders. I have been influenced by PAred/Jistic/ and even some sliders influenced by Skyboxers MVP sliders. I have alot of mixed resluts with these. I know they won't be for everyone but give em a try. Feedback is appreciated. I have a few other people using them....ajw514 and my uncle. My uncle is loving them so far and Ajw has only played a few games but seemed to like what he saw so far.

So here there are..... some of it looks wierd, but to me it plays a good game of baseball!

I know we were talking about bullpen fatigue sliders in another thread, I think you posted in there. Anyways after screwing with rosters for a bit I am ready to play and I tested this just now. I had bullpen fatigue rate at +50 and threw 31 pitches with a reliever and he was down to 81 % the next day. The next day I picked another releiver and threw 28 pitches but this time with bullpen fatigue rate at - 50 and again the guy had an 81% the next day. Both times I had fatigue grace at + 20. I dont know what this slider does. I think a problem is that we use releivers for an inning at a time and rarely throw over 10-15 pitches with then umless we are in trouble. Maybe thats why we are not seeing the fatigue drop?

Hey Wilson10 these are really good sliders. I now have a 2-2 record with these sliders. I find these very challenging but you can also win as well. So it is not impossible. Hitting takes patience but it can be done. So far so good dude.

Glad you are really enjoying them. I hope others are as well. Seems there have been some views of the topic but no feedback. I feel Pared and Jistic have theres pretty much well set, and thats fine. I am NOT trying to take anything from them but neither set was working just "right" for me. Thats why I pm'd these to you at first Ajw514, I had seen numerous posts by you in a few of the sliders topics and seemed you couldn't find what fit you. I am stoked someone else is liking these. I have never made my own until these. Always used someone elses. Granted these are based off a few others out there, but are not the same and are radically different from all of them.

AS for the reliever issue. I am at ends on it. We will see what happens with that once others start testing stuff more or find a way to correct it. Keep me posted on how things are going, like I said not 100% sure these are final!

hey wilson i tried your sliders i thought they were really good sliders i just lost to the mets 7-5 grat game though. ive posted my own sliders(steven's keepin it real sliders mvp2005 allstar)you got me debated if i should use your sliders or mine to start my season??very good sliders very challanging!
I have one question about pitcher fatigue you have it at 9 my pitcher almost had 50% by the 4th or 5 inning and at that time i only gave up 2 runs i think my pitcher was tiring too soon? its my opinion i could be wrong i must keep in mind i was using my 5th starter(kevin brown) his stamina is 88 or 86 but anyway your sliders are really good!!

                    Re: Wilson10's MVP 2005 All-Star sliders

Cool man glad you liked them. I saw you posted some lastnight as well. Anyhow, I am unsure of the fatigue for user and cpu as of right now. Also the bullpen stuff I am unsure as to what I am going to do.

AS far as the 50% fatigue...what was your pitch count? I am leaning a few ways on this one. If you play on -17 or even -5 you can go a long way with your starters. Even the #4 or 5 guy with 80-90 stamina. To me, being able to consistently hit the green with the meter at around the 70-75 pitch mark is unrealistic. These guys get tired in real life but CAN complete a game but usually (i said usually) don't have the same stuff the started with. They are not a lot of complete games in real life (not sure of the exact stat but its been posted somewhere) and what I am HOPING for with these staminas is that you will occasionally get that gem of a game and throw less pitches and just be ON and thus can go the distance. I haven't seen it YET but thats my hope.

Maybe it will have to go down some or alot. We will see. Thats why I decided to post my sliders in hope I would get some feedback. I REALLY think pitch counts and fatigue/stamina is just a problem with the game. I remember reading somewhere that on average a starter in the MLB throws 100-110 pitches. Can't realisticly do that on this game without going 9 and a fatigue of WAYYY negative. I may totally wrong on this but we will see how it goes.

Thanks for trying them and hope you continue to like them!!

hey wilson thanks its me steven thanks for getting back to me,i dont remember wat my pitch count was? but i will play another game with your sliders and let u know.i agree on what u said on your previous post about pitching stamina,i have my pitching fatigue slider at -10 it seems to work for me depending on how u have your difficulty settings and how u pitchfatigueslider -10 works preety good i have my pitching cursor off my strike zone off hot/cold zones off vibration on,if my pitcher starts to get hit early in the game to say the first 3 innings gives up about three runs his stamina goes about 76%to about 73% (these are about 3 or 4 INNIGS) my pitch count is about 40 to 46 pitches thrown when i start the 4th inning by time the 7th and 8th come i have thrown about 76 to 82 pitches with my fatigue about 37%to 33% i guess this woks for me its not the most realistic pitchcount and stamina but its getting closeim almost there but im happy with a -10 pitcher fatigue, anyway here are my thoughts give me some feedback when u gtes some time... thanks.
