i also use wilson10 sliders he has excellent sliders no question...

I raised the CPU swing frequency to -27 and saw not much of a difference to the orignal -23. I only K'd 2 guys from the White Sox with Randy Jonhson of all people. Oh well, I still thing Wilson10's sliders are the best for me.

If you lower the swing frequency (more negative) they will swing less BUT you still have to throw strikes. If you got too low then you have them watching pitches that normaly ANYONE would swing at, and probably punish you for. I am thinking if we raise they will swing more at bad pitches?? I am not sure though. Problem there is that it will lower pitch counts if we do not throw balls AND we may lose walking a few people.

I haven't been able to play too much lately, so your feedback is GREAT!! We have a good bit of views on this topic, I hope others have tried them or are using them and just haven't posted back yet. I too feel this is a very good set that plays really well!!

Very nice sliders, I am getting realistic scores with these. I have been using them for the past 4 days and I am very happy with them. Good job.

Yes I was thinking the same thing. I would rather have lower K's than a lower pitch count. So it stays as it is for me at least or until somoene else finds a better solution.

i had 8 strikeouts with cpu swing frequency at -27 with randy johnson pitching.
then i had 7 strike outs with mike mussina pitching with 3 walks, after that i had 5 strike outs with kevin brown pitching with 4 walks ,with all on -27 cpu swing frequency, just my thoughts....

I guess I don't know how to pitch then. Oh well I pitched a shutout with these sliders. I defeated the Orioles 4-0. Mussina pitched 7 innings and Sturtze pitched the last two. In the top of the ninth I almost lost the shutout. Sosa almost hit a sola HR to left but Matsui jumped to the top of the wall and robbed him of the HR. My first shutout with these sliders. I found that if I changed speeds on certain pitches and did not hit it right on the green I threw off the opposing Oriole batters.

Steven I would be curious to know how you got as many strikeouts with The Big Unit and Moose? What is your pitching strategy and what opposing teams did you perform these feats against? Your feedback is appreciated. Thanks.
