                  Derreck Lee and Miguel Tejada

                  - It was between Tejada and Roberts and I went with Tejada. After voting I looked further into the stats. I probably should've gone with Roberts. I knew he was putting up good numbers, but I had no idea his OBP, SLG and OPS were higher than Tejada's.

I just think Tejada means more to that team than Roberts. Remember the O's kept on winning even when Roberts was out of the lineup.

Lee is NL MVP no contest.

When you are leading your team in:

Batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, OPS, run scored, stolen bases, and second in every other offensive category then it is hard to justify someone else on that team being the MVP.

I understand Tejada's leadership, but Roberts numbers (and his incredible job of being a table setter) has really set the tone for that team.
