The best thing for the Giants is to trade him. He can DH somewhere. We need to get rid of that salary. One thing is Barry is very emotional person, so what he says one day might be different the next day. But i don't blame him. He probably scared he will re-injure his knee.

Sadly I think the Giants without Bonds have a better chance of taking the NL West than my Padres.

I'm glad you aren't the GM. I swear if Bonds played for ANYONE else besides the Giants, I would resent the management so badly along with millions of other fans. He's going to win with us or not win at all period.

Personally...I wouldn't mind if Barry Bonds never set foot on a baseball field for the rest of his life.

It takes pitching to win. And how is BOnds going to play the outfield with bad knees. You need to get what you can. Trust me I'm a very big Bonds fan. I think he the greatest player to ever play, but life goes on and so do the Giants. I thought no one could replace Clark, but Bonds did. I think they have some good young players to carry the team in the furture. I wouldn't want to be GM lol.

Naww screw prospects. The Giants have already shown they want no part of them with the departure of Aardsma, Williams and Foppert. They want vets and ONLY VETS! They heart oldies.

I agree, it does take pitching to win, but no way will Colon put us over the top. What we really need is these young pitchers to step it up. Lowry is showing signs that he's getting better every start. Hennessey has flashed some signs he can pitch at the bottom of the rotation also. I wonder what SP will be available in the off season that the Giants can aquire..

Then maybe Tim Salmon, who *cough* is doing quite well in rehab *cough* and should be in great shape for next season

Its not like Bonds has that much value

I what them to get AJ or maybe Washburn. The young guys have alot of up side. They just need some more games to get experience. Lowry will be a good pitcher. I just hope Schmidt get his fastball going again. I think next year they need to get Cain's feet wet. And give him a shot.
