      I think we can safely assume that somebody like David Ortiz is not a steroid user. He has repeatedly said to inquiries about the issue, "Come test me. I'll gladly take the tests. I'll pass them. I don't take steroids. I have nothing to hide." There can be no twisting of words with these comments, because he clearly proves he has nothing to hide. He has also not failed any drug tests thus far, so we can assume he is clean based on his test results (clean as far as we know), and his comments regarding the issue.
      Good for him. I hope he is telling a truth and not boasting that sort of confidence because he has a whizzinator with him. Remember Sammy Sosa saying that he'd take a test at any time, but when Rick Reilly asked him to take a test, he got into a hissy fit.

        Hey, don't bring the whizzinator into this. It never did anything to you.

        Didn't like 5-10% of players test positive for some sort of steroid 2 or 3 years back? I believe that's a little bit less then 80% of the league there.
