Blair was just on The Score:

- JP has twice delayed his press briefing. It's now scheduled for 6pm
- Thinks AJ still might go to the Cards. They won't budge from their 4 year offer. If he wants to a longer contract with more dollars he will sign with the Jays
- JP has spoken twice to Sanders's agent. He wants a contract longer than one year.
- Nat might be intereted in a Wilkerson for Batista trade.
- Threw out the usual names for bats i.e. Mench and Overbay

Hmm....it's past 6 PM I think you mean 6 your time?

Sounds like AJ may have to put on the pants in his marriage if he wants more money

I wouldn't mind Sanders on the Jays tho he could drop off at any time.

I'd make that trade in a heartbeat. Wilks was a beast in my MLB 2K5 franchise. Yeah I know it's a videogame but still

I'd be ok with Mench but not Overbay.

What don't you like about Overbay? We need a power guy in the lineup.

Meh...we have a lot of 2B hitters, we were 10th in the majors last year.

And I think Gaudin was released to make a spot on the 40-man for someone. Guess it could have been Burnett.

I want the Cards to sign Burnett but like some of the Jays fans are saying the money is getting up there for a guy with great stuff but has had iffy results to this point. I don't know that Jocketty will give a guaranteed 5th year due to the arm trouble he had in FLA and the attitude questions but I would love to add that power arm in the rotation. His wife definitely wears the pants in the family though thats become clear lol

JP was on SNNews and he looked a bit frustrated. He said you sometimes want things to mover quicker but it's not his decision.

Rosenthal said the Jays 5yr/55 mil is their final offer.

He's either going to the Cards or BJ's. Might have an announcement tommorow.
