It's almost certain it will be Mark Grudenzalenik. Though they desperately need to dump Kaz.

Yeah thats what I dont understand the most. Out of all the fiasco of trades and signings, why wasnt Kaz traded? I really think he needs a new team, so he can somewhat, HOPEFULLY, redeem himself.

The Cubs should go after him, cause correct me if I'm wrong, he can play multiple positions, which might help the team.

And I think, imo, its a huge upgrade over Todd Walker.

For those that say the Mets are spending mad money like the Yankees this offseason, with all the moves alread done the Payroll for next years club will be close to the same as last years club. A lot of money came off the books with losing Piazza & trading Cameron. If they can trade away Benson & Kaz they will save even more money that they can then use to sign a 2nd baseman or a middle reliever.

I'd like to see more pitching though... I'm not completely sold on the rotation as it stands at present. Are there any good frontline starting pitchers out there?

I think the starting pitching will be ok. I would like to add another arm or two in the bullpen but the good ones are hard to get.
