The Red Sox have already tried to package Shoppach off in a deal with Texas for Adrian Gonzalez and the Rockies have inquired about Shoppach, so it's actually not surprising that Sox are looking for another backup Catcher (Todd Pratt or John Flaherty-most likely). They will trade Shoppach at some point either this winter or during the season down the stretch.Comment
