Re: Tejada wants out of Baltimore
One of the few bright spots for the O's the past 2 years. I can understand his frustrations. It'll be sad to see him go if that's the case.Comment

Re: Tejada wants out of Baltimore
Yep, One of the VERY few bright spots for the O's.
But, I can't blame him or even hate on him for wanting out. Like he said, The O's haven't made any signifigant additions yet. Which I fully expect while Peter Angelos runs my poor team into the ground.
Ever since 97 Angelos has been runnig the team into the ground. Forcing Davey Johnson out, Letting Pat Gillick go, Hiring Syd Thrift (ugh), Albert Belle!!!, letting Moose go, stripping our farm system almost bare, and.. well.. I could go on forever.
Hopefully the Nationals will start making great money and force Angelos to sell or to actually field a decent team.

With that said, it should take a ton more to get him. IMO Tejada is the best SS in baseball right now.Comment

Re: Tejada wants out of Baltimore
SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic - Baltimore Orioles shortstop Miguel Tejada said Thursday he's unhappy with the team's direction and wants to be traded.
"I've been with the Orioles for two years and things haven't gone in the direction that we were expecting, so I think the best thing will be a change of scenery," Tejada told The Associated Press in a phone interview in his native Dominican Republic.
Tejada signed a six-year $72 million contract with the Orioles before the 2004 season.

A source close to Tejada, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said Tejada would like to be traded to a team on the East Coast, and specifically mentioned the Boston Red Sox as his choice destination.Boston Red Sox l New England Patriots l Boston Celtics l Massachusetts Minutemen l Boston College EaglesComment
