And you just proved my point. Before last year we were just whiny fans that no one really cared about. Now, after winning the championship we're whiny little bitches that everyone hates.

Great way of proving my point!

Maybe I am just niave but I don't ever really recalling Red Sox fans being annoying like White Sox/Yankee fans. Cynical and pessimistic, absolutely.

But not exactly quite the same persecution complex that WS fans have, and conceited mindset that Yankee fans have either.

Red Sox fan or not, I'm not a blind, mindless follower.

If that were the case I would have said we were optimistic, happy-go-lucky fans who were always cheery.

Even if I am the fan of a team or whatever, I still can see their faults.

Personally, i don't hate the White Sox. I was even a fan of Frank Thomas and Robin Ventura back in the day. But i can't stand that Kenny Williams has to rush to the media every time someone says something about the team he doesn't like.Frank Thomas wants to cry about how Jerry Reinsdorf didn't even call to tell him they were letting him go...fine!, Carl Everett wants to say the Sox are a 3rd place team when he plays on a possible last place team...let him!, who cares!. Williams is the only GM who has to publicly counter attack everything every ex-player says. Say what you want about the Red Sox and Yankees but when was the last time you heard Theo or Brian Cashman get into confrontations with their former players after a game over something as stupid as criticizing team leadership--IN SPRING TRAINING!!.

As i said, i don't hate the White Sox, i respect what they did last season, but damn stop being so sensative.

OT: sounds about right. Baseball Prospectus predicts 81-81 for the White Sox this season. I think that's about right.
                      NFL: Tennessee Titans
                      MLB: Cincinnati Reds

You were the one who made a mountain out of a molehill while discussing semantics. Either you really can't tell that what you're doing is annoying (and thus causes arguments and flaming), or more likely, you know it is, and you don't care.

That's all I'm saying. I'm trying to keep people from getting overly upset at your otherwise ridiculous (if not at least a little true) statements. It doesn't matter if it's true, if you discuss it the way you did, it tends to upset people. That's all I'm sayin'
