I changed channels when it happened, but was it an arm issue?

I can see an arm injury happening anytime regardless of body type. Throwing a baseball overhand is such an unnatural motion for the body to make. Submarine-style is actually better for the arm.

            Good timing......Rain Delay.

And yeah, why broadcast women's basketball in HD, but not opening day baseball.

You can thank Danny Graves for that.

And speaking of rain delay, I hope the opener for the Padres doesn't get that.

Probably because it's the women's final four and i'm sure there are alot people interested in it (me not included...even though it's good to see MD win). Baseball just began while the women's ncaa has 2 more games left.

Victor Martinez doubled, Travis Hafner scored from 1st base. Sort of a close play at the plate, but the ball bounced over Pierzynski.

Next batter, Eduardo Perez, tomahawks the first pitch into the left field stands for a 2 run home run. Tie game at 3.

He made the pitch to Iguchi and grabbed his right chest/rib area. Maybe an oblique strain? It looked peculiar. It didn't seem like an arm injury, but that's certainly possible.

When the ESPN cameras cut to Sabathia I could have sworn I saw him mouth the words "My back". I'm surprised the announcers didn't see it. They must not have been looking at the monitors.
