In terms of stadium condintions, Wrigley Field is a dump. The historical value is what makes the stadium so appealing. But the walkways are dark, the pavement is very uneven, the seats are cramp and the bathrooms still use the ol long bucket of urine that everyone pisses in.

          Very great fan atmosphere though.

The Trop will always have a special place in my heart since UConn won their first national title there in '99, but damn that place is as bad as a baseball stadium gets.

As for outdoor stadiums, Shea runs away with that crown.

Really? I mean, I'm really not a fan of the stadium either, but it is a pretty good ballpark for the players. I guess, as a fan, it's not as appealing though. You are just plain not close to the action at all. But, in terms of the stadium (and beauty, play, or style), it's OKAY. Can't be the worst, though.

I also have mixed feelings about Fenway Park. It's a great T.V. park, but I just don't know about being there. Anyone like to contribute their opinion on it in terms of being at the ballpark?

Tropicana, though Cinergy looked like utter crap when it had part of the stadium was demolished. (room for GAB)

I would agree with Tropicana and SkyDome.. But the other two ballparks in the division are perfection. Nothing like watching a game in Yankee Stadium or the elevated seats on the Green Monster.

That's the same way I feel about Wrigley Field. I since I'm a White Sox fan I don't go to Cub games unless: a) someone gives me tickets for free or b) the White Sox are playing. I've been to a couple of Cub games and have never paid for the tickets. Even the game I went to 2 years ago when they played the White Sox. It's beautiful to watch on TV and if your just watching the baseball game at the stadium. BUT the conditions there is absolutley horrible. The last game I went to at Wrigley was in 2004 and they played the Astros. I had a seat with a pole sitting in front of me. The seats are too close together and I feel smushed. And they have TV's there for people to see the replays and they have these cheap 20 year old 19"inch Zienith TV's hanging above the seats? HELLO! Ever heard of Jumbotrons? Let's enter the 21st century please!

Blzer...it's just that one time I went and it was so trashed it was disgusting. Everything was old, the floor was filthy, it just seemed so worn and trashy. The people in there arent exactly the best either.

I wasn't too impressed with Yankee Stadium as much as I thought I would be. Its a nice stadium, but it has an outdated feel to it. The seats are small, the interior is terrible, and the fans are some of the most obnoxious people in the world.

A's fans are cool. They are way better than the knuckleheads across the bay. Nothing was worse than a game at the Stick, err Monster Park, err what ever the other 15 names it had the last few years the Giants played there. Nothing better than leaving 105 in Sacramento wearing shorts and t-shirt to find out it's -52 in the middle of August at that hole of a park.
