    AJ Burnett hurt again

This guy doesn't look like he can stay healthy. Very glad the Cardinals didn't spend the money on him.

Sucks ***. The game last night between him and Josh Beckett was shaping up as a completely sick pitching duel, but after he left with the injury, it definitely lost a lot of my attention.

I bet Ricciardi is doing a lot of questioning to himself this morning..

What a waste of money and potential. I swear if this guy can ever make 30* starts, he could win the Cy Young. Alas, he is more brittle then Mark Prior.

This guy is just another Kerry Wood, Matt Clement clone. He will never reach his potential. Daniel Cabrera and Oliver Perez will probably follow them down the same path of injury and control problems that will never be solved.

Kerry Wood Jr. All the potential, nasty stuff, just can't stay healthy.

Let's not jump the gun. Even tho this is looking like the worst of JP's acquisitions this past offseason it's not like he's INJURED. It's just scar tissue.

If it turns out worse after Monday then i'll gladly hop on the "wasted 55 mil" bandwagon.

Yeah. I've been pretty happy so far with Sidney Ponson and his 1 million dollar contract.

How does a guy still have scar tissue problems when he has surgery 3 years ago and he had no problems last year. This is more than that and probably structural and expect him to go on the 60 day DL next week and hopefully have a couple of starts in July before he shuts it down for the season. What a waste of money. Mr Burnett meet Mr Lindros, can't any Toronto team sign a free agent who isn't a step away from the ICU.

<---Now officially glad that the Orioles didn't trade Cabrera or Penn for him, or pursue him in the offseason.
