LOL BK, you like all the wrong Tigers. Inge, Jones? Ick.

And Jones had a 4.91 ERA last year, I believe. He settled down a bit near the end last year, and is off to a great start this year...but it's only a matter of time.

      Disagreed.

Except for Gagne's stretch of dominance, Hoffman has been arguably the best closer in the NL for what, 15 years?

And his entrance in the 1998 world series is still the coolest entrance in sports.

Funny a Yankee fan calling anything overrated. As I said, no one gets less with more than the Yanks.
I know the definition of overrated and would apply it when speaking about Trevor Hoffman's ballot to the Cooperstown.

TJ's my man.. I don't know how you can't like Inge. He's starting to swing the stick a little bit too.

LOL. Alright, you obviously can't back any of this crap up or you would. I'll know in the future that you just concoct other people's arguments for them and put words into their mouths because you don't have the chops to debate what they actually say.

It's ok. The 1998 run was pretty good. Other than that, I would be hardpressed to use the term "dominating" when speaking about his dominance for instance, and someone like Mariano. Two worlds aparts, but yet both Cooperstown elligible, because of their record-accolades.

And Inge is still about 60 points below the Mendoza line right now, lol.

The guy swings at just about everything. Bugs the hell out of me seeing him constantly trying to golf sliders out of the dirt.

60 points below is better than the 0 for 22 or whatever it was he started.

BTW, this whole Trevor Hoffman is overrated schtick, is probably your most blatant and weakest troll attempt ever. Don't blame Trevor for Eli. It's not his fault.

Well Rivera is better, but Rivera is considered by most to be the best closer of all time.

Doesn't take away from Hoffman though. I don't know what keeps him from being considered dominant. Low whip, solid era, strikes out a lot of batters. And he's done it for a long time.

Probably because AI_Franchise has been nothing more than a San Diego Sports Troll.
