Because that would be a logical move, and as Selig has proved repeatedly, that's something he tends to veer away from.

I swear it's the White Sox fans mission in life to just piss of as many people as they possibly can. It's like their only pleasure in life....

NO because AJ sucks! At least he did for the Giants! He has no arm and he is the king of double plays! But that is great that another Soxs goes. They have been bad for so long it is cool to see them get some love!

lol, what a joke (AJ that is, I think Nomar was at least as deserving as any of the other NL candidates)

I don't know he is ripping up the league with a 326 Batting average and a whopping 36 RBI's and powerful 5 HR. Watch out AL!

I don't care for Guillen nor do I care to see 25 Sox players on the All Star team, when they are in 2nd place.
With Manny pulling out we will probably see Crede on the team since Guillen said if anyone dropped out thats who he would add. Guillen is probably praying for an injury to someone else so he can get Jermaine Dye in the game as well. What a joke.

There needs to be a limit on how many players the manager can take from his own team.

I sincerely hope Pete Rose is allowed to pinch run for the National League and runs over AJ with the same impact of his last all star game collision.

Guillen already picked Magglio Ordonez to replace Manny, and Jermiane Dye deserves to be there, and got voted in b the players, not Ozzie picking him. The only people that Ozzie picked was PAUL KONERKO and MARK BUEHRLE(who had a 3.12 ERA when Ozzie picked him.)

AJ doesnt have alot of RBIs because he is behind the best 3-4-5 hitters in all of baseball in Thome-Konerko-Dye who drove in about 180 runs in front of AJ. AJ would have about 8-10 HRs if he actually tried this year to get HRs but he is trying to just get easy hits. I think Liriano is deserving of being there, but why have him when his exact clone of him is already there in Santana. They are the same exact pitchers, and the AL already has enough pitchers(There is only 9 innings in the game guys) The AL needs more batters then pitchers because we need to pinch hit for the pitcher atleast 4 times in the game so Hafner or AJP should have won, but I guess we just have better fans than the Indians...IM SORRY GUYS! Another reason why AJP should go over Pronk is because the Indians arent even going to be close to the World Series so why vote him in when he wouldnt care as much as AJP would.
