Why is it because of SS? Not playing SS isnt his cause of angst. He had 2 solid years at 3B before it became a problem. Why do you think that is suddenly the reason? Besides that, hes bigger and older so SS may not even be the answer.

Hell no..Being a Yankees fan i wouldnt take either Woods or Prior in a deal for Arod..Both are injury prone plus I hope the Yanks learned from the Pavano deal.

I would take Aramis and Hill for Arod =)

I would say right now Rich Hill may be the best young pitcher in all of baseball. If the cubs trade him right now hes a lock for the hall of fame.

If we trade Hill and A-Ram I may become a yankees fan.

What he said. Besides, the offseason hasn't started yet and this is the fourth rumor I'm hearing concerning AROD. He's being "shopped" around to the likes of White Sox, Cubs, Angels, and Dodgers so far. It's going to be a long offseason for AROD, doubt he goes anywhere though.

Liriano, Felix, Harden, Willis, Kazmir, Sowers, Young, etc.

Hill is far from being close to the best young pitcher in all of baseball. He did end the season well but that doesn't automatically make him the best. Until he can prove he can do it all year, he won't be close to the best.

As USF said Rich Hill also better be untouchable. The second half he finally started to look comfortable, and is learning how to pitch at the ML level. Plus he has never been hurt. I think he could be the real deal if they don't mess around with him. His minor league numbers were off the charts, and I think once he gets it all together he can be a force.

Do you think theyd go for Marshall?

Hard to say. I guess it might depend on how much NY would want to get rid of ARod. Marshall has shown some promise, although I would think they would want a pitcher of higher caliber.

Wow. These are some pretty Cubs friendly trades. Ramirez would basically be a positional replacement throw in, but the Yankees would have to get Zambrano, which I doubt would happen. The Cubs have no one else to trade at this point. Does anyone really think the Yankees would be interested in Kerry Wood right after he decided to become a closer? Doesn't New York already have someone in that spot?

I like Alex, a lot, but even though I will continue to defend him till the end I realize pitching is the Yankees biggest need.

If we can get a solid pitcher or two for Alex I'm all for it.

                                I feel the same away.

I don't want to get rid of A-Rod just to get rid of him, and if he's on the team next year I am fine with that.

But he's one of the few stars on this team who will probably be tradeable, and we need pitching, so if he can bring back good young pitching I'd be willing to trade him.
