Anyway, my question relates to the parks in baseball games. Im a big mark for the newer stadiums like Jacobs Field, Safeco, and Ballpark in Arlington but just cant stand any of the domed stadiums. My favourite would have to be Houston's minute made park (is that the name still? seems that park names change every 6 months) I like it for hitting because going to the other fields isnt really a challenge, but hitting it out to center is a fair ways away. I like pitching in it because I see it as more of a challenge to keep balls in the park. My favourite team is the blue jays, but I just cant stand looking at and playing in skydome, its just so plain looking. Give your opinions on what parks you enjoy the most.

Which ballparks in baseball games do you like, hate
I would first like to introduce myself to the board. Im Pete from Sudbury Ontario Canada, the armpit capital of canada. Favourite baseball game has to be High Heat 2003 for PC, but with a recently purchased ps2, I am abandoning the series for bells and whistles. I was so pumped up for MVP baseball at first because of the features in it, but when I heard that WSB was coming to ps2, I decided where my money will go. Have yet to play the 2k baseball series (NHL 2K3 rules imo) so it shall be interesting.

Re: Which ballparks in baseball games do you like,
Favorites: PNC Park, Pac Bell, Minute Maid, any old stadiums
Least Favorite: Any dome, Veterans Stadium, all cookie-cutter stadiums.“In my lifetime, we've gone from Eisenhower to George W. Bush. We've gone from John F. Kennedy to Al Gore. If this is evolution, I believe that in twelve years, we'll be voting for plants.” - Lewis BlackComment

Re: Which ballparks in baseball games do you like,
Pitt couldn't agree more, I like All of the newer parks with the exception of Miller Park. I loathe the Metrodome, well i guess any domes and turf fields. Baseball should be played outdoors with natural grass. Oh my all time favorite park The Jake in late October(well i guess i will only see that on video games for the next couple of years)Comment

Miller Park is the most god-awful "new" park ever...it's like playing baseball in a warehouse.“In my lifetime, we've gone from Eisenhower to George W. Bush. We've gone from John F. Kennedy to Al Gore. If this is evolution, I believe that in twelve years, we'll be voting for plants.” - Lewis BlackComment

Re: Which ballparks in baseball games do you like, hate
I agree that baseball should be outlawed from being played in a dome and on turf.
I actually like the looks of Comiskey (I'm not calling it US Celluar Field), but it is God awful to have to watch a game from the upper deck.
I also LOVED the look and feel of Tiger Stadium, but I guess that doesn't count.
Stadiums that jump out at me that I like are:
Pac Bell
The BOB (the only "indoor" stadium I can stand, even though it is a indoor/outdoor stadium)
Yankee Stadium (has that old feel)
New Comiskey
Wrigley
Safeco Field
PNC Park
The ones I dislike are:
The Vet
Tropicana Field
Comerica Park (probably because of my hatred for the Tigers moving from Tiger Stadium)
Cinergy Field
Metrodome
I could go on and on, but I won't bore you any more than that.
