He won't, Pujols was on a tear last season early on too, and look how that turned out.

Pujols also got inj and was out a couple weeks if not more, don't remember exactly. I would say Pujols would have gotten close had he not gotten inj.

I really hope that he does, but I don't think so.

If he doesn't get injured during the season then I definately think he has a great shot at breaking it.

Man I hope so. Hes a classy guy unlike Bonds and gets no respect in NY. Just wait, so many people in NY hate A-Rod but he will be one of the most beloved players of all time once he breaks Bonds' all-time record. (cant stand Bonds at all)

No, but I dearly wish he would so Bonds wouldn't have it.

He still had to hit the ball, and he only got one to two pitches a night, regardless of steroids that is amazing that he was able to not miss those chances!

You guys crack up. You just hate Bonds, regardless if he took steroids, if he never did them you would still hate Bonds, you now feel like you have a reason too! lol Look at my Avatar and explain the muscle on Albert! lol

I will say yes, that I hate Bonds for reasons other than steroid allegations. The man is a churl, point blank. By all accounts, he is an ******* of a human being that has no business representing baseball.

Hell, the man choked and threatened his mistress and is currently letting his "friend" rot in prison in order to protect himself.

My opinion of Bonds is the same as my opinion of Pete Rose...whatever bad comes to them is deserved (within reason) and the sooner they are out of the picture the better.
Overall satisfaction also makes the decline!!!!!!!!!!!!

Barry's attitude has an awful lot to do with it. I met him a few times when he was a Pirate and he was a complete *******. I'll never forget how horrible Barry and Andy Van Slyke treated people (and I'm not talking regular autograph seeking fans outside the stadium or in the stands.....my buddy and I were often in the tunnels outside the clubhouse and amongst the players and their families). I know other's have met him and had better experiences so maybe Barry was just too young and immature back then or maybe it was something else (race related theory). In any case, I'll never like those 2 guys for the way they acted in those instances.

I know you've mentioned Pujols a few times. To be honest, I've always thought he was a pretty big, ripped guy. Although the cover of that magazine makes his arms look huge. I haven't seen the pictures on the inside of the magazine. His arms didn't look that big when the Pirates played STL so I wonder if he just got done lifting before the photo shoot? Anyhow I've gone off on a tangent. My point being that Pujols seems to be nice to the media and fans so that probably goes a long way in how people view him as compared to Bonds.

NO doubt Bonds is an ***! Yeah I was thinking that about Albert too, but some of those pics were very interesting. He was alway a big guy, but now he is Bonds size, they show his workout schedule and you can why, but with all this talk about steriods I am shock that he went and got bigger this off season. Also, that is my point, if Bonds was a great person and the media loved him, I know people would feel different. lol

Well one story that has been around here before. Is he doesn't like the media, because the way it treated his dad. They would talk bad about Bobby and he felt like it wreck his parents marriage. So I can understand that to a point. I know if I was kid growing up and the media talk bad about my dad and the socall affairs he had, I would have problem with them today.

He'll get at least 55 then someone will give him some kind of "medicine" for a cold he tries playing through and it ends up giving him an infection and he'll have to sit out the rest of the year.

It's too soon to tell, really. Ask this again during the all star break.
