Re: Schilling at it again.....
Lets see if he pitch to Bonds when they play each other. I would love for Bonds to hit the record breaker off him, because Schilling is all talk. The cheating on his wife comment was not needed to get his point across. I am willing to bet that there is people on the Red Soxs, that cheated on there wives, taxes, and took steroids.Comment

Re: Schilling at it again.....
I'm not surprised at all. Schilling just loves to hear himself talk. I don't get him at all sometimes. Now the media is going to be asking the players and coaches how they feel about his comments since he "doesn't talk to the media". It's just not good for a clubhouse where everything seems to be going well up to this point.
I found this link where Francona wishes that he would just keep quiet on some issues.

The same reason Mike & Mike, The Herd, M&MD and Dan Patrick all blasted him for it today on the radio. Because he's a hypocrite."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Schilling at it again.....
OK so if he was a former teammate and he was talking **** about you you would be cool? He is jerk, and he should keep his mouth shut. Throwing other players under the bus is wrong. Curt always have a smart *** comment about everything.Comment

Re: Schilling at it again.....
When did Bonds ever admit to cheating on his wife, taxes...OR ADMIT to steroids?
Granted, we all think Barry Balco is roided...no doubt. But where does Schilling come off saying Barry admitted to all that stuff?? (Esp. the cheating on his wife bit? Or the taxes? He never ADMITTED anything!)
The only thing that separates Schill from average career mediocrity is a questionable sock-stunt and sending it to Cooperstown.
And yet, he's Mr. Baseball Blog Commentator, and often way out of bounds.
Just like this week when he posted how Clemens wasn't necessary for the WhineSox. (Really, Sox management seemed disappointed, as well as their freakish fans..)
is it Shill's place to lecture everyone from on-high?
Maybe he should fake a carpal tunnel ailment and stop his blog posts.
Maybe he could then send a red-stained keyboard to Cooperstown.Comment

Re: Schilling at it again.....
Baseball is not the world. To slam on any player is wrong, even his own teammate came to Bonds aid. Curt is joke to some of the players. Some even say that when he always mouth off. He has no credibility. So if he wants to keep talking mess oh well, more power to him. He just want to get people off the bloody sock!Comment

Re: Schilling at it again.....
Also, many of us suspect Bonds as a roid abuser for many reasons...but its erroneous to say he ADMITTED anything...because he didn't.
And remember..this is the same Curt Schilling who threw Canseco under the bus because Canseco named names in the roids declaration. At that point, Schill was Mr. Union and wouldn't say anything bad about players on steroids.

Re: Schilling at it again.....
Now that I agree with. Schilling had a chance to speak out against this issue awhile ago and failed to. Not sure why he changed his tune, but here's to hoping he's consistent about it going forward.Comment
