Yea, I can see it. I also notice that OS gets alot more new users right before a game comes out. And most just become addicted like I was.

There should be 2 different post counts. One for total posts, and another for Irrelevent posts. So you can tell how much someone BS's.

Everyone should chime in when those questions are asked. "Check the main page" or "That is covered in the interview".... Eventually, the people will get around to it. I think it's more that people are too lazy to go and read something and would rather ask a question or 2 and get the answer much quicker.

Thats something that I thought about doing. But it seems like a slap in the face to whoever asked the question. It seems rude at times. I know its the right thing to do but the person asking the question is looking for a hero instead of a link. Plus the fact that most are to lazy to scan paragraphs of writing to look for the answer to thier question. Thats the sole reason they do post. Lazyness.

Re: When Baseball Forums go Bad!

A couple of weeks ago in the Everything Else Forum people were complaining about how many unregistered users were on the system. There were many cries of, "Come on people, sign up and join in the discussion!" Now we're seeing the "I don't like all these new people and their inane questions," comments. Granted there are some rediculous questions from newbies but 95 % of the time the topic let's you know it's going to be a ridiculous question, so don't open it up. If you do open the topic and see a lame question, a simple answer wih the comment of "by the way, that's in the such-and-such interview" would be the frinedly thing to do in my opinion." Or don't answer and move on to another topic.

I've been on these forums for well more than a year, mostly as a reader, as is obvious by my post count. Frankly, I don't have a lot of time and would rather read the various posts than chime in with my response to each topic. I see a lot of "Which game is better" topics and roll my eyes, but a few of those same people might wind up contributing some kind of interesting insight down the road and IMO don't really deserve to be blasted out of the starting gate here.
