    Bonds 1 away

Watching the game on ESPN right now(a surprisingly good game), he hit 754 earlier this game. Next homerun ties him with one of the greatest sports records. Will you be watching tomorrow?

I'll get a chance to catch the end of the game, maybe one at-bat. I'll be happy to see it, i think it's going to be one of the moments that give you a good feeling. Even if it is "tainted".

Yes but only because he happens to be playing Florida. I hope this d-bag never gets 755, though that's unlikely. Florida's out of the race anyway and should just peg him every plate appearance, at least make him get it on the road and hopefully one of the syringes thrown onto the field sticks in him.

I hope he breaks it on the road because I bought bleacher tickets in left-center for the upcoming series.

Hopefully, I can catch the ball.

You should know better, none if his milestone homers were away. He will wait to break it at home.

              For SURE.

The tie and the break is going to be at home.

How is baseball not a "pure" sport. I dont even know what that means. Theres nothing wrong with the game. The players and owners may have some problems, but the game is the same as it ever was.

Congrats to Hank Aaron. That's the way I'm viewing this. I'm glad many other outlets have taken that approach as well. Aaron has never got his just due and dealt with much worse than Bonds has ever dealt with during the HR chase.

The homerun record will be as tainted as Pete Rose. I don't care about Rose (one of the best players ever) and certainly won't cheer when this event happens.

I sort of like applauding good behavior. Hank, you're still number one.

I think it would be great if all pitchers started intentionally walking him the rest of his career. I would love to see him miss the record by 1, and I'm sure a lot of pitchers think the same way.

And why does everybody need to dog him, this is a thread about the record, not roids. lol Why do you care that I defend him. Seems like you have the problem! Also why do you get up set when people call you Harry Potter, because you don't like it, so let me get this straight. People can have their opinions about Bonds, but if I share mine it is wrong! OK, got you!
