ummm, I don't complain over little things, but I can understand the complaints.
If a company is gonna claim to be the best then it needs to act like the best.
Don't tell me that the stadiums are perfect replications of the real thing and then somethin as little, yet simple, as the popcorn stand in Comiskey is in the wrong part of the field. That's inexcusable if you said, "our parks are the best replicas of the real thing." Instead say somethin like, "we think you'll agree that our parks come the CLOSEST to being the perfect replicas to the ballparks in MLB."
But yea, a popcorn stand isn't important to me. But since you use it as an example, I might as well bring it up. All I want is some honesty from the developers. I know they are hypin their games up for us to purchase, but at least be honest. Under hype, over perform. Simple marketing tip.
Video games have come a long way, but it's only fair for us gamers to continue pushing companies to make the best products for us. If we didn't complain that we wanted the outfielders to have individual control, then it would probably have taken longer for companies to do it.
Madden was the first game to implement all 22 football players on the field at the same time. Why? B/c EA knew that gamers wanted all the players on the field and they gave the gamer what they wanted.
And if I want the popcorn stand in the right spot at Comiskey, then my 50 bucks should be enough to demand that.
