I was just wondering who you all thought this year's horrible managers are...and how about all time for your favorite teams? Bill Plummer was an idiot for my Mariners. So was Maury Wills.

Terry Bevignton for teh ChiSox was pretty bad. He went out to the mound one time and called for a right-hander to come in and pitch. Only problem was he hadn't told the bullpen to warm anyone up.Comment

To be honest, I never really put much credit on the manager, I mean, they got hitting instructors, pitching instructors, catching coaches, baserunning coaches, etc... the manager just seems to be the joining piece to all the coaches, while his job, i'm sure is not easy, I don't think he should be the first one to take the fall for a losing team, and likewise he shouldn't be the first to get hoisted up on shoulders when you win the series...
If I gotta wonder about who's a crappy coach, I'm going to say Bobby Valentine, even though last I heard he was unemployed.Comment
