No you don't speak for all baseball fans when you say that. Voicing your opinion doesn't make you an idiot.

Anyway I love baseball. It can get boring once in awhile but I still love it most of the time.

On a sunday afternoon in may......What will i be doing?

Answer-sitting down with a few ppl drinking a few bears and watching baseball. this sport is not meant to make you jump out of your seat every 5 minutes.

BUT,,,,,,,,there is something about this sport. this something makes you jump higher than any other sport will. you will go more crazy during a baseball game than a football game. These moments are just so few and far between. but it is these moments that make baseball great. i am a huge football fan and i watch a good amount of baseball. but when i think back. i can remember more great moments in my lifetime coming from baseball than football.

                  Re: Who else hates Baseball??

The sport of baseball can be worth watching but MLB has done such an awful job as a league I hardly blame people like AubAlum for saying things like this. Compared to watching game 47 of 162 Id rather watch soccer and I played baseball in college. Baseball sold out and so as a purist Im a little disgruntled. I hate the expanded playoffs. Since they have it they should go back to 154 games. I hate interleague play. Baseball needs to put a limit on the number of times you can throw to first base as well as regulating the time between pitches. I also think they should enforce the strikezone by using sensors to call strikes and no HP umpire. I also hate the way pitching has evolved. In my lifetime its gone from a declining amount of complete games to only pitching 5-6 innings and then on top of that the common use of 5th starter. What theyre not paid and or conditioned enough to make 4 extra starts a year? And then steroids, players strikes, vast disparity in payrolls yielding competetive balance which resembles professional wrestling more than any legitimate sport. Baseball...its a legitimate sport its too bad that MLB isnt a legitimate league.

                      PS--

Basball is nothing close to Americas game. Just because some writer dubbed it the "national pasttime" 80 years ago doesnt mean its true and it doesnt mean we are tethered to it. The sad fact is its dying. I can easily see MLS overtaking MLB in 10 years.
