Re: High Heat Sightings and First Impressions here...
Steve,
Are the miracle comebacks still in the game. Seemed like last year half the time you had a big lead against the CPU they would rally back with a big inning to win the game. Didn't matter who you had on the mound or how rest they were before coming in.Comment

If you are comfortable taking apart electronic components, take your ps2 cover off and clean all the dust/dirt out of your ps2, including the laser lens with a q-tip and some alcohol. I did this about a month ago and haven't had a problem since.
In fact, this should be done about every 5-6 months.

Hey Blackgoatsmen there are a couple things i have done to get HH 2003 (also blue disc) to work...
1.) you can just put the PS2 in the vertical position and that usually works for me. If that does not work.....
2.) You can take the PS2 apart and clean the lense or laser with some rubbing alcohol or lense cleaner. Problem with the second one is it voids the warranty.Comment

i'm very angry, just got high heat, and its not working.guess cause of the blue back.this sucks, why didn't they just use the dvd.

I have heard.......that if you put some scotch tape (2 pieces) on each side of the hole in the middle. not right on the edge of the hole but a centimeter off. .............make it look like an H. with the hole being the horizontal line in the middle of the H. this will make it easier for your ps2 to grip the fast moving disc. blue discs move faster than any other and there is a problem with gripping them. Just dont put the tape on the part that accually gets read by the ps2.Comment

Hey Steve
From the few games that you have played, what are the scores? Can you post a few statistics, from what you can remember?? and the pitchers you used?
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
I was the Giants all 4 games.
Scores on "All-Star" level.
1st game, lost 5-1.
2nd game, won 3-2.
3rd game, won 4-3.
4th game, I was tired heh, I lost 8-3.
There were a few errors. The 4-3 game I had 11 hits, the game I lost 8-3 the CPU had 14 hits. I saw a total of 3 HR's. 1 triple and probably at least 6 to 8 doubles.
I played w/ the behind the pitcher view. I love it.Comment
