How do the stadium graphics look? I know the animations are better, and graphics in general are better, but do the stadiums look much better than in past HH games?

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

I'd have to say they are better, not an overwhelming change tho.

I just picked it up at lunchtime. I can only read the manual for now. Some interesting things stick out about the franchise mode:

Farm System: "All players remaining in "A" farm system will be automatically cut to make way for a new crop of rookies"

"Minor League players do not count against your budget, HOWEVER, as soon as you bring a player to the Majors, he gets a 3yr contract and youll have to account for him then on.

Any player with a valid contract counts against your budget, EVEN if you send him down to the minors!!

That actually sounds pretty sharp ...adding some financial consequences to bouncing people up and down the minors adds a more realistic aspect to player transactions. Three more hours 'til I can play...

ok, this is an easy one. If u always liked this series you will like the new game, although if it weren't for a few new graphics and animations on the screen, you can hardly tell you are playing a new version of the game.
It "feels" EXACTLY like previous versions of this game. Whether that's a good thing or not depends on if you liked this game all along. It definitely won't win over any new converts. The "updated" graphics are definitley not a huge leap forward and still look "PS1-like" to me. The gameplay is still good, but the game remains bland and boring for me. Baseball purists will like it, but to me, the "fun-factor" just isn't there. After playing the 1st game, I wasn't looking forward to another. There's just nothing "fresh" about this game. The other titles coming out seem to offer a lot more that's new and exciting. So bottom line.....if u like this series get the new game for the new rosters and slightly better graphics and animations, but if u weren't into it before, stay away because it's more of the same.

Anyone know about the schedule? Is it accurate or is it last years?

So far I like it only played 5 innings so far though. I can come back and answer some questions.

The stadiums look better, but are not great, they have added rain.

The animations are much smoother, curious to see what they will look like on the X-box.

Graphic overlays are layed out much nicer and from the game menu you can see a wealth of info on your players. ratings, stats and attributes.

It seems a tad harder at default All - Star right now.

i will check on the minor league questions as soon as I finish my game.

Picked up HH about an hour ago. Graphics are better, animations are MUCH better. Gameplay seems the same, which is good imo. The menus are much nicer looking and more intuitive. BTW, when a pickoff is attempted, the runner DOES slide headfirst sometimes.
