Yes, you can modify pitch speeds. Default is too slow IMO...

I agree which is why I'm glad to know you can increase the speed!

                Steve,

When you sim a season in franchise let me know if there are any trades during the season and what kind of free agents signings are there. The reason why I'm asking is because over on the HighHeat2004.net board Will Abner, who has a beta copy of High Heat 2004 for the PC, mentions that after he simmed a season in franchise there was only two trades and when front tier players like Sosa and Bonds became free agents no teams picked them up and they all sat out the whole season. Please check to see if this is the case in the Xbox version. Thanks.

Also if you set the pitching camera view to "Low" instead of the default "zoomed", pitches get up on hitters much more quickly.

I was hitting Randy Johnson somewhat easily on the zoom level and when I set it to low......I got it handed to me.

Seriously, you can set the acutal lineups and rotations for the minors, thats pretty cool. (Ive never owned a PC HH, so i dont know if thats a carry over from the PC version)

Well, obviously the rosters are as of last month sometime, but thats not a big deal, for me at least.

Ok, so here goes, when your playing with the pitcher view, how fast is the turnover to the regular fielding view?

Also, Can you set the Pitchers view to when only you are pitching??

                            <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

From the pitchers view it switches to the fielding view pretty quick but I am so used the the hitters view now that I don't like the pitchers view. It doesn't have a ptichers view only when pitching option, but getting in and out of the menus to change it is very quick.

Somethings I noticed, where on a grounder back to the pitcher he did a nice little overhand flip, he didn't wind up and rip it at the 1st basemen from 10 feet away.

Not sure on how the injuries work, I may have to read the manual, it says that Sosa is out for wks(which i assume is weeks). Didn't see a disabled list option but I thought I read about it somewhere.

it does simulate stats for your minor leaguers so you should have a good idea of who is doing well.

Annoucing is pretty much like last year the sound is a little more vibrant but it maybe buggy, I have had instances where the crowd noise just stopped and going into the audio menu during a game just made the crowd really loud and I couldn't get it to quiet down.
