Re: Ankiel received HGH shipments
It doesn't when it appears that he's not taking it anymore. But I've read that HGH (I think it was HGH but it could have been steroids) can actually improve a person's eye sight. So if true that would make the ball easier to hit.Comment

Re: Ankiel received HGH shipments
HGH can improve eyesight but that's not typically. Also, for the poster way above, it does NOTHING to your hormones, so there's no risk of having any mental issues on HGH. HGH is also not a performance enhancer is not very anabolic (it won't make you get big). It will lean you nicely and help your overall sense of well-being.
And oh yeah... IF HE HAS A PRESCRIPTION, IT IS LEGAL. HGH is completely different from anabolic steroids..... it's like comparing an apple and a tire. Sports and the media have no clue... and they pass their lack of knowledge on to you guys....... it's not how it should be."Well the NBA is in great hands but if I had to pick the single greatest player on the planet, I take Kobe Bryant without hesitation." - Michael Jordan, 2006Comment

I was wondering if he took something. He looks bigger. Plus he had some injuries he wanted to heal faster I assume. Pretty sad. And it's not legal if you have a prescription, unless there is a need for it. That is why the place he got it from is under investigation. My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: Ankiel received HGH shipments
Fine, it's closer to legal. If we start questioning every doctor for every prescription, it's going to get nuts. It's all about interpretation. Just like testosterone treatment. Many men that have low natural test are prescribed supplemental test and it makes them feel great. Many doctors don't agree that you need extra test or need to be at an optimal level... who's right?
And you're NOT going to gain much muscle on HGH alone. So if he looks bigger, heaven forbid he actually worked out and gained the muscle on his own. Or, perhaps he added AAS with HGH... a very good combo for muscle gain."Well the NBA is in great hands but if I had to pick the single greatest player on the planet, I take Kobe Bryant without hesitation." - Michael Jordan, 2006Comment

Re: Ankiel received HGH shipments
If you don't mind me asking how do you know so much about HGH? I think I saw you in another thread on the NFL forum talking about it.
So assuming that Ankiel wasn't combining HGH with any anabolic steroids, what would be the advantage of using it?Comment

Re: Ankiel received HGH shipments
Honestly? Well, I'm in the health industry and also in the bodybuilding arena too. I've seen and talked to many MANY people that have used performance enhancing drugs. I also have dabbled myself... we should not get into that here. I have thoroughly studied and researched a tremendous amount of supplements, etc, for both personal use and for those around me. Honestly, it's part of what I'm into and I don't take it lightly. I've talked to doctors, endocrinologists, researchers, etc, getting every bit of info I can dig up because knowledge is power."Well the NBA is in great hands but if I had to pick the single greatest player on the planet, I take Kobe Bryant without hesitation." - Michael Jordan, 2006Comment
